Wouldn't lose any sleep over what Mr Huckerby says or thinks because if you have a player with a long throw like Gunnarsonn then any team would use it as often as possible. As regards set pieces again when you have a player with the quality of Whittingham any team will be dangerous from set pieces. Also the pass from Whittingham for Revell to score looked from the highlights I watched to be the best pass of the game and absolutely nothing lower league about that.

We all know the problems our team has and, in my opinion, most are of the managers making because he has us set up playing 4-4-2 but with little or no width and no midfield general, no leader in midfield. Tonight we face Borough who have Grant Leadbetter in CM I bet he absolutely runs the show, put him in the centre of our team and I think it would make a big big difference.

He is 100% correct, we do play lower league football as we are a lower league team, what does he expect ? for us to play silky flowing premier league football ? we need PL players to do that, we need to be a PL team to play that way, our team is made up of League one and average championship players, so that's our grade of football.
We are what we are an average Championship football club, we have been for the past 15 years bar one season of being shown up with the big boys of the PL, and we will be for another 15 years if we are lucky, all we must not do is slip down through the leagues again like we did in the 80,s and 90,s :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

We are halfway through a season, having changed manager again and shedding players in the January sales, yet lie mid-table Championship level. Therefore, the original post is just ludicrous in my opinion.

Lower league means League One at best. So how come so far Cardiff are placed comfortably in the second tier??

I guess we will see at the end of the season Bluebirds!! :bluescarf:

Another excuse to show hate for all things ccfc by its supporters? Its indemic on this board!
hate way play, hate manager, hate owner, hate atmosphere need I go on? :old:

Exactly!

Now that the rebrand has been sorted, "fans" are looking for other things to moan about and bring the general morale down.

I don't regard Championship as lower league either. It is a physical, competitive league and notoriously difficult to get out of. The PL. Is regarded as separate so really, Championship is the best of the rest. You don't need to buy PL players to play good football. It is about commitment, management and philosophy. Maybe we need to keep a manager for a while to find the team identity.
