There is an unbroken rule in football that when a new manager arrives at a football club that all players start with a clean slate
Anything with the previous manager is forgotten
Unfortunately this has not happened with Slade
My only thought about that is that he has listened to Scott Young and has not made his own conclusions
Every player in the first team squad should have been given a chance to prove himself to the new manager
This has not been done which shows what a circus our playing side of the club has become
One problem after another
The rebrand sorted but the playing side of the club a shambles

Large presumption that slade didn't use his own judgement? Why cant people except attitude wasnt right for club? Instead of blaming slade or tan? :o

my opinion is that I believe what people have told me about this player, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I would not have picked Slade to be manager but I am willing to give the bloke a chance, he is such an easy target ,only two of the players at the club were brought here by him so it's hard for me to make up my mind yet although lots of you are right so far the football as not been great this season...just my thoughts lads not saying they are right, just another view

Unfortunately I was told the same thing quite a few months back Corky, which is a shame as his CV suggested something special. Other comments also suggested that his style would be more suited to the PL. Whichever way, he needs to be playing regularly so a loan is going to be good for him.

I cant help but feel that Guerra leaving, and a few others,,has nothing to do with RS, but ultimately VT himself. I also think that the decision to "clear" out all the high wage & under performing players was taken just after OGS left,,towards the end of last September. That plan was put in to action just before RS was officially appointed. Just my opinion.

Could be right and as posted previously other owners in premier chooses who goes who stays and even sign players? So nothing out ordinary other than its tan doing it! And something needed to be done to cut costs and stabilise club so damn if do damn if dont :old:

He was injured most of the time Ole was here but in the games where he was coming back to fitness he looked a class above any of our strikers.

Then came Bournemouth in the cup and Scott young publicly spamming him in the press, yes he was shit, but so was everyone else, and no one was worse than our assistant manager at the time.

Slade comes in, Young has his say, we don't see Guerra again.

I don't buy this lazy and poor in training excuse when his replacement is Macheda

Guerra too poor to merit even a place on the bench against Rotherham and the like, or is it more likely the club is just a tiny bit dysfunctional?

That's right. OGS's tenure with us has proved to have been little short of a disaster, certainly on the pitch anyway, & any player signed by him who hasn't already gone is on a sticky wicket at this moment.

Even some players signed by MM are in doubt, namely Brayford, Kim Bo-Kyung & Maynard.

I've also got a feeling that Marshall may be moved on,,,,I really hope I'm wrong on that one!

Luke, I posted weeks ago,I know Guerras Spanish friends and he has begged to be given a chance, our loss in my opinion and all that money wasted in wages.

Slade would rather 3 defenders on the bench and only 1 attacking option.
You can see from his instagram he has kept himself lean and fit so his attitude can't be that bad. As sub in the league he has looked bright. I'm not saying he should of started but at least been an option from the bench.

Jo Inge Berget has returned to Cardiff from his loan spell with Celtic but Javi Guerra is getting closer to completing his exit from the club.

Berget went on loan to Celtic with 'high hopes' but I think it's fair to say that this didn't really work out for him with the Scottish outfit, with things not exactly working out for him at Cardiff either....

Having made just eight-appearances during his time in the Scottish Premier League this can't be considered 'a success' can it with him back with us, for how long though remains to be seen?

Almost certain to move on though is Guerra, as has been the case for sometime.

The 32-year-old has 'failed to make an impact' since his arrival at the club, in his five-appearances, which include just two League Cup starts, he's not scored a goal since his arrival on a free from Real Valladolid - a return to Spain with Malaga is almost complete according to reports.

Malaga will gain from his goal scoring.
