Sorry guys, I have to say I am totally shocked you have spent a transfer fee on Alex Revell. He's a solid signing in League One, but I think he will be quite a bit out of his depth at a promotion chasing Championship side. He tries hard, but technically is limited. I wasn't overly fussed when he left us for Rotherham, and in all honesty I think he'd be fifth choice striker with us if he was still here.

I hope I'm wrong as I'd like to see Slade do well, and Revell is an 'honest pro' who I quite like, but I just can not see this working out.

Reading the comments it feels like Revell is signed more for attitude than ability.
Maybe its Slade's way of adding to his backroom staff and influencing the team with a hard working example.
Christ knows we need both.
