I don't know the people going personally as fans but I imagine out of 40 supporters there will be quite a few that will hopefully have none of it when they try and dress a turd up as birthday cake and pull the wool over our eyes.

Time to be humble if blue returns.

Really?. Blue is our colour.

It would be tan that should be humble.

I am still very suspicious and dreading disappointing news. That's what being a blue campaigner has done to me under Tans regime. If it is back to blue with bluebird badge with reduced financial backing then I am dancing on the streets.

Actually I have always said I would take a freefall to get our identity back, club football is about the team at the heart of the community and surrounding areas, it's identity and heritage, and if success comes then that's fantastic , but not at the detriment or sacrifice of the former, that's always been my stance since day one of this awful selfish non negotiable rebrand.

Changing the subject slightly a question I want clarity on is tans input into team affairs, and the rumoured meddling with tactics selection and recruitment.

Please please please no squabbling, showing off or demanding, I will have a thank you Tan banner ready to go if back to blue happens, also I hope you get nice sandwiches and coffees too!

Most of all unity and luck to the fortunate 40 tonight.

I will accept that :thumbright: as Tan has already started doing this anyway :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Yup, let's get the most important things right and restore our history. If that means a low budget squad and a few more years in the championship is the least of my worries if we have to do it the hard way then so be it. As long as we're cardiff city again!

If it's back to blue with a bluebird badge but reduced funding. I will take that all day long. :bluescarf:

At least we will know where we stand and get behind the team in blue. I think when we are the underdog we get behind the team more and the atmosphere is excellent. Getting excited already :bluescarf:

This meeting may be to reiterate that VT has told us on Sky tv on Christmas say that he will always keep us Red and we must accept it, no return to blue under VT, what happens if this is the news given ? Even if it is a return to blue it will be with massive fan concessions I would imagine :bluescarf:

I wont believe this until I see Tan wearing a blue retro Cardiff top on with his trousers pulled up to his chin

It's great news if true but won't believe it till I see it.

There is a catch some where but we must take the financial hit for the future of our club.

If we get 18,000 renewals blue any less Red, lets see how serious you are, I'm committing financially, you show some financial commitment too ?????

he'll want to gauge the depth of feelings within the fan base before thinking about making any changes

Very :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: if We are all United as one and we dont get fans saying things like " they dont care if Cardiff players were naked or wearing pink " and saying " colour/badge means nothing " plus our fans all show respect in the meeting :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

this is the important thing about tonight. UNITED and RESPECT. I hope all 40 are united and respectful. And not be stupid and demand blue kit, bluebird badge, 100mil, premier signings and change the red seats on the upper tier.

I want to be stood there Saturday at 3 pm a proud Bluebird with 100% united support from the supporters as Ali welcomes the Bluebirds! !!!

1 Good
2 Not good enough, our identity needs to be restored
3 People think tan saved the club. However, I believe he is killing it financially.

My verdict = Tan needs to go.

'Reduced financial backing' I think everyone will accept! But what about 1. NO financial backing (you've said he ploughs money in monthly to balance-although I accept the cut backs etc may mean he no longer needs to and 2. That 100mil I've put in... I'll call that back in too!!

From what we've seen, he doesn't seem like a man to be crossed, I think he'll offer the blue but when we accept (because we will) he will do everything in his power to get us bankrupt!

My thoughts exactly.

I made this point earlier in the thread. If he puts prices up 15% like last year those coming off price freeze will have jumps between £519 going up to £789 at the top end and £329 to £499 at the lower end. I can't see how people will renew in enough numbers at these prices but Tan can then say he gave us a chance and we didn't do anything about it. It's a cynical view but that's where I think he is going with this.

£499 for the cheapest adult ticket to watch the sort of football on show at the moment is beyond a joke.
