Back to blue or not if the prices are not value for money nothing will change. People will simple not renew.

Would be happy with that as I don't believe he would have done the debt to equity swap anyway . As the sole loan creditor a club in a healthy financial state is key for tan being able to sell up so I am not bothered about his Investment being in the form of debt at all .

I would take relegation now if it meant going back to blue. That's how much I want it.

And me.............got £20 on County going up and City going down at 130/1.

There isn't going to be premiership football under Slade and Young even if we stick to red or change back to blue. It is more likely to be league 1 football we will be watching.

This is my worry and why I've always tolerated the rebrand.

I take the opposing view that we could play in whatever colour but only significant finance can ensure survival and maybe take our club into a period of real success and greatness.

Bournemouth have spent 2.5 million on a player from Malmö. Hardly little cash.

That's the point. Just because we are in blue won't mean we are successful necessarily and then we will get a lot less than 25k in the ground.

A lot of forum members seem to be assuming that a return to blue is the main thing on the agenda in this meeting, quite likely that will be the case but with multi millionaire businessmen (Tan) they rarely give and don't expect anything in return. There's gonna be a degree of give and take expected from the owner, what that may be is anybody's guess as the original agreement involved investment in return for the rebrand. I believe a lot of belts will be being tightened around the club (as has been witnessed already with the appointment of a bargain basement manager and his assistant and the quality of player we're pursuing in the Jan window).
The 442 system will continue to be played by the manager, we'll continue to be starved of possession, the football will continue to be dire and boring and the results will still be poor and disappointing, will a return to blue bring the fans rushing back in their thousands and stop the boooing of our players with this being served up each game?
I go to watch City playing and pay good money to do so but tbh I wonder about my sanity when I look at what's served up by the team and manager, whether a return to blue will give fans the feel good factor and if it does for how long will it last with shite football on the menu every week and little or no investment in the club?
Happy days we're going blue again but Christ what kind of football are we gonna be watching for the next 2/3 or more years?
A few posters stated they would be happy for us to be lingering around the fringes of league 1 or 2 as long as the team wore blue shirts and a badge with a more prominent bluebird on it..those days may be nearer than we think.
