Back to blue then Tan to f**k off I want.

Will you then moan about how shit the signings are? How little money we are spending in the transfer market? All the quality we have shipped out and replaced with budget players?

Or the court cases. Regular court cases where we are close to getting liquidated.

Hey we will die in blue.

Please God I hope this doesn't happen.

Cross that bridge if we come to it. I'd rather cardiff city fold in next few years then stay the passionless red mess that we currently are.

I wonder if i switch back to blue would mean no reduction in ticket prices for next season? using a change to blue to blind us and test our resolve when paying full price following the end of the 'price freeze'?

Back to blue or not if the prices are not value for money nothing will change. People will simple not renew.

Would be happy with that as I don't believe he would have done the debt to equity swap anyway . As the sole loan creditor a club in a healthy financial state is key for tan being able to sell up so I am not bothered about his Investment being in the form of debt at all .

I would take relegation now if it meant going back to blue. That's how much I want it.

And me.............got £20 on County going up and City going down at 130/1.

There isn't going to be premiership football under Slade and Young even if we stick to red or change back to blue. It is more likely to be league 1 football we will be watching.

I take the opposing view that we could play in whatever colour but only significant finance can ensure survival and maybe take our club into a period of real success and greatness.

I'd still swap the colours for turning our club into one of the big players because......

That's what I feel Cardiff City should aspire to.

We done that for a brief season in the prem and it was rubbish. I can't enjoy watching my club unless I feel proud of what I'm watching and cardiff could be winning Europe I'd still resent the fact were not in our colours

not with me sunshine. my view is simple. complete reversal of rebrand, no concessions. if he says he'll cut back the budget, then so be it, i'm fed up of him playing childish games with grown men, this is our club and i will not tolerate any more crap from that man :ayatollah:

Totally true. If he cuts the budget etc then so be it. Just because we won't have money to spend does it mean we will be shit. Probably two best sides I saw this season are Brentford and Bournemouth and they had no or little cash. Go back to blue and then give Slade a proper chance at running a team with his chosen cheap players and in their proper colours without so much crap in background.

Bournemouth have spent 2.5 million on a player from Malmö. Hardly little cash.

My question to this is...

Tan would rather have an unsuccessful team playing in red with 10,000 fans watching
than a successful team playing in Blue watched by 25,000

He must love red !

That's the point. Just because we are in blue won't mean we are successful necessarily and then we will get a lot less than 25k in the ground.

There's gonna be a degree of give and take expected from the owner, what that may be is anybody's guess as the original agreement involved investment in return for the rebrand. I believe a lot of belts will be being tightened around the club (as has been witnessed already with the appointment of a bargain basement manager and his assistant and the quality of player we're pursuing in the Jan window).
The 442 system will continue to be played by the manager, we'll continue to be starved of possession, the football will continue to be dire and boring and the results will still be poor and disappointing, will a return to blue bring the fans rushing back in their thousands and stop the boooing of our players with this being served up each game?
I go to watch City playing and pay good money to do so but tbh I wonder about my sanity when I look at what's served up by the team and manager, whether a return to blue will give fans the feel good factor and if it does for how long will it last with shite football on the menu every week and little or no investment in the club?
Happy days we're going blue again but Christ what kind of football are we gonna be watching for the next 2/3 or more years?
A few posters stated they would be happy for us to be lingering around the fringes of league 1 or 2 as long as the team wore blue shirts and a badge with a more prominent bluebird on it..those days may be nearer than we think.

I have to agree with all of that!

So would any reasonable and sensible fan. Trouble is they are very thin on the ground, judging by this forum.

Would swap anything to be back playing in blue with our blue badge!
