Re: " Sam Hammam speaks out about consortium "

If there's one thing we should know about Sam Hammam it's not to believe one single word that comes out of his mouth.

Still waiting for him to repay that £500,000 he shafted the club for seconds before we almost went bust.

I think the appropriate phrase is "Out of the frying pan into the fire"

Why so many people want to see the return of the man who brought the club to it's knees through incompetence and mismanagement I do not understand.

Bollocks.

You need to learn the difference between supporting the team and supporting the regime.

Tan came to this club not to win us over but make money. If it was not for us supporting the team over the years the likes if Tan would never have the opportunity to make more money.

I agree support the team but don't by a hypocrite, who paid for medel caulker Campbell etc

Yes but look at it this way:

Unless a buyer is found Tan is going to take us down to league one with his cost cutting now. He is going in the opposite direction to splashing out the money. He will be with us for another 2 seasons until the parachute payments have dried up. n that time we will have a squad of league one players plus a league one manager. Don't be surprised if we do end up in league one.

Final chapter of the book of Tan is he would have recouped his money by taking the parachute payments and selling the club at a reasonable price because the books are balanced. We will most likely be in league one and gone back 10 years. If all this happens which is likely what will we all think of Tan then?

Not saying I ant Sam back but if it were a choice between Sam or Vincent
I would go for Sam.

He started the momentum that stabilised Cardiff as a championship club.

And started the momentum that sees us where we are today, as well as taking us to being within minutes of going bust.

The man is untrustworthy and as selfish and self obsessed as Tan but without the money.

A new takeover is needed , with someone better in.

Re: " Sam Hammam speaks out about consortium "

Fri Jan 02, 2015 10:24 pm

Neither for me ! Both full of bullshit and both have their own hidden agendas.

If I femembet correctly Carl posted Tan was putting in a million a month to subsidise a shortfall, any other company would make cost cutting exercises so why different in football and with financial fair play.

However a return to blue increases revenue so why cut your nose off to spite your face!

I can only think that's what power and money does ?

I agree Sam made many mistakes, but that word should never ever be used.

I said he is a cancer, in that he nearly killed us.

I never wished or wanted cancer upon anyone. As a person to chat and jab fun with you would want sam around your dinner table, but he had a chance of running us and didn't care if we went under at the end. Those high court days were alot worse than all of this.

The man is a poison. I don't want tan anywhere near us, but I don't want sam either.

Sam isn't bothered about us one little bit, he can sniff a fiver in a force nine gale and at this moment has the scent of a big wad of cash in the air. It just has cardiff city fc written on the bundle.

Nobody who can surely remember having to wait for high court outcomes and understand the severity of the outcome every time we went in could ever want sam back.

We might aswell ask the risdale to negotiate player contracts whilst we are at it.

Not saying I ant Sam back but if it were a choice between Sam or Vincent
I would go for Sam.

He started the momentum that stabilised Cardiff as a championship club.

What he built was on no foundations though.

What our eyes could see was a football club goin forward, New stadium planned, but behind the scenes the foundations were rotting away, w e reached a point of complete instability in the championship of player fire sales, poor training facilities, stadium stalled, and even after he departed we still had to use promised ticket cash for debts that were marked for transfers.
