People would find a way to defend selling Marshall and replacing him in goal with John oshea.
However crap a deal people look to find a glimmer of sense in it. When there is literally none.

MILLWALL have turned down a bid from Cardiff City for Scott Malone.
As first revealed by NewsAtDen, the Bluebirds are long-term admirers of the left back and firmed up their interest with a concrete offer in the last 48 hours.
Malone is out-of-contract in the summer and there have been no talks about an extension to his deal at The Den, so Cardiff are hoping to nab him for a cut-price fee.
But their opening bid of around £75,000 has been rejected.
Because of Malone's contractual situation, there is a limit to how much he will command in the January transfer window.
As a result, it is understood the Lions would be more inclined to part with the 23-year-old if Cardiff offered a player in exchange for him.

Thank god hes crap

it is harsh to judge a player before we've seen him play (or even signed him), but it does worry me that we're signing players like this. it seems slade pitched himself as a manager that could get us promoted on a shoestring. it has been done before but spending very little money in the transfer market is usually a guarantee of mediocrity.

It's just the opening bid, chancing your arm.
I'd imagine there'll be more to this little saga!!
Fabio is on big wages for what he does so it us sensible to get proper Championship players for more realistic money. Whether this is the answer is another thing. Mixed reviews on him. Hmm

Are the players going out really that good though, and up for the championship? aside from Guerra which was a disgrace not even been given a chance,i think we need a clear out
Fabio cant defend, hence us rarely winning when hes in the side

Cardiff City have now offered £100,000 for Scott Malone.

Cardiff City are closing in on Millwall left-back Scott Malone after tabling a second offer for the former Bournemouth defender.
And any deal to bring the 23-year-old to South Wales could see striker Nicky Maynard head in the other direction.
Malone, 23, is out of contract at the end of this season, with Millwall manager Ian Holloway resigned to losing him.
Holloway is thought to be keen on an exchange of players rather than a cash deal and has already turned down a £75,000 offer. Cardiff’s new bid is around £100,000.

As I thought. Even £100k is a bargain if he can at least match what Fabio offers. Hopefully a step forward.

Quite clear whats happening. Trying to recoup some money by outing the quality players and at the same time getting them off the wage bill.
In will come a bus full of lower league players on cheaper wages but lacking Championship/Premiership quality. I think that Slade will be building a team ready for Division 1 and its clear that the ambition to go back to the Premiership has gone.

The club don't really need him.
