Re: ' No Meeting Today & Tan fully backs Russell Slade '

[quote="Sven"]I'm usually pretty positive when it comes to the team itself, but IF this news is correct, then it effectively sees our season turn into a battle against relegation rather than one of promotion

I don't 'blame' Slade totally, as I believe he is a good manager at a certain level. Sadly, that level is not the level where the real Cardiff City FC should be at right now and it doesn't help him that he has Scott Young rather than his preferred Kevin Nugent as his No.2

You need someone you can genuinely trust next to you in a battle and I'm not sure he has that right now

It is equally evident that the squad are being setup for one single formation for each game and to move away from that is nigh on impossible, even when (an alleged  ) 22,000 other people in the stadium can see that the opposition have 'sussed' us out and worked a way around it!

I'm having a tough time personally at the moment and had hoped for a little solace when turning up at the CCS to watch my beloved Bluebirds

Sadly, thanks to an owner intent on not seeing the real picture, a manager who cannot manage at this level, a coach (Young) who has now removed any 'cult hero' status he may have had amongst older supporters, and a team that cannot keep their heads up when they go behind, watching Cardiff City FC at the moment is only adding to my grief and for the first time ever I am seriously becoming 'disinterested' in results in either direction (win or lose)

True to form though, I keep turning up and won't abandon the club I love, as I believe that sooner or later we will pull out of this malaise and move forward again
The most positive thing about Vincent Tan is that he has proven it can be done and all we need now is a true leader at the top, prepared to make decisions for the benefit of everyone involved with the club and that person will reap the benefits (or riches) that we now know are there to be had  :ayatollah:

Very good post [b]without going ott blaming Tan and without going on about the colour change - both of which have been done to death on this forum

We are stuck with Slade, just like Pardew with Ashby at Newcastle, both are puppets for their owners, except Pardew seems to have finally grown a pair and looks like he is going to Palace, just hope Slade falls on his sword and fu$ks off as well, taking Tan with him :bluescarf:
