That's it for me. He's a lying b*stard. 40 years of following City all over the place will stop in May....possibly sooner as I couldnt be bothered going for the last 2 games. Cheers Tan. A dis-honorable, lying, arrogant bully of a man. The vast majority put up with his nonsense in the hope the debt would be wiped out. Another lie from him.

[quote="SwampCCFC"]on balance i think in summer 2012 over 50% of the fans backed the rebrand in exchange for tans cash.

50%! That's a huge assumption and is surely far too large a number. As there has not ever been an official ST holders vote, we will never know the true figure and that gives supporters a right to complain without being hypocritical.

as stated the figures i gave represent my opinion, i think they are in the right ballpark, but you of course have the right to disagree.

i think my quote answers your post anyway: "from tans point of view, he has seen people change their minds post relegation. he is entitled to point his finger at those who have jumped on the bandwagon when they were more than happy to take tans cash for the red."

if you have been consistent, then there is no problem. its those that were happy to support the rebrand that have now turned round and find the football boring and are threatening the club with not renewing, that i call hypocritical.

I hated the prospect of us becoming red, the only thing that made it remotely bare able was debt to equity, whether we were Championship or Premiership?
After all the nonsense of being in & out of court, could we pay our tax bills, players wages or general debts, it seemed a reluctant price worth considering.
But he hasn't kept his word & now we are sinking as a club as quick as ever.

Yet another horrendously embarrassing statement from Tan. So those protesting against the rebrand are "against the club" and it was 100% down to Tan why we got promoted and zero percent down to Malky. He just had to mention Malky AGAIN didn't he! He also says he's lived up to his side of the bargain despite still failing to convert the debt to equity.

The white kit stunt from Tan at Bournemouth was absolutely pathetic. I think it's clear Tan is punishing our fans because we keep protesting against his ridiculous rebrand. Tan hasn't attended a single game this season. He won't face the fans because he's a coward! The sooner he buggers off and takes his fellow Malaysian rats with him, the better! I WANT MY CLUB BACK!!!

Under the same circumstances the majority would still back the rebrand in exchange for stability and promotion, unfortunately those in positions of power within the club lied to the fans and to Tan about the true position, Directors such as Borley made out that there was no other way, it was admin, liquidation or a rebrand and a debt free club. Rather than Tan, it is the likes of Borley that I blame for this. He was one of us, with blue blood running through his veins, but like all his fellow Directors who had a vested interest, they saw only the pound signs and not the terminal damage this has caused. Thanks Mr Borley, from your actions in all this I will never again trust anyone, no matter how big a fan they proclaim to be

No vote has ever been offered to or has taken place with all season ticket holders, which is the only correct way to have confirmed consensus.

Tan suggesting that supporters cannot now change their agreement at this point is unbelievably arrogant - we didn't get asked in the first place or give any agreement.

Tan claims to be honourable, yet his conduct has been the opposite throughout the rebrand. He has dictated to supporters from the off and thought nothing of removing the clubs history and heritage on a personal whim.

He tries to reaffirm that the dragon is a Welsh symbol but that is just a convenient coincidence that he is using in his favour. The dragon is important in his part of the world but this is CCFC and not international football, therefore the dragon is not important on our badge but he's playing it up as so.

This being released on Christmad Day, is Tan enjoying the hold he has and acting to deliberately antagonise supporters.
Absolutely agree 100 %

All in all, the guy is a cock.

Agree 100 %

This is a critical time we are in right now.

If regular and potent demonstrations don't take place soon, then we may lose the overall fight, such as this...

We also do not know what Tan will do next for further rebranding. He may be making new plans for this...

Not trying to send people into panic attacks! Just pointing out that this is a very important time where big action is needed and must not be missed.

As soon as we win a few games again or get into the play off positions, some of the anti tan stuff will die down a tad. If you don't want to go down anymore, or can't afford it anymore. Or have family commitments which take up a lot of your time. You may even have grown up a little, and no longer feel giving a stranger a slap has the same excitement. Please don't embarrass yourself by stating that your not going anymore because a chairman you dislike runs the club. For the rest of you, just stop going and telling the world for the third season in a row about it. Three points is all we need right now. :ayatollah:
