' Absolutely clueless '

The Championship was not for Daehli. He wasn't physical enough and did not develop anywhere near enough as he should have. I still think with the right formation and type of player around him he could have thrived but we didn't have either of those. I'm sure he'll flourish in another league in another country but it won't be here unfortunately. Personally, I would have played 4-5-1 and played him behind the front man. Every other option is a better solution at times like this mind!

The problem is that the players that slade plays aren't any better. Noone looses the ball way more than daehli ever did , don't actually understand this criticism think he is good at retaining the ball. Kim is much more lightweight. Falls over all the time. Le fondre has no end product, the list is endless. Pretty poor performances alround. Bit puzzling how the young lad became the one we don't need anymore I mean at Least he might become better. Those players in their prime should already have sorted out these problems.

well i think noone is a better player at this moment in time, and le fondre will come good, he's just low on confidence at the moment. kim, i think will be moved on along with mats.

i just resent the proposition that anyone that disagrees that daehli is a fantastic player is a minion of tan. i respect your opinion but think the manager should take the money if he thinks daehli is not what we need at the moment. i have seen other fans agreeing with me, and disagreeing with me, on this forum and thats fine, football is about opinions.

My feelings exactly. Matts isn't brilliant yet but at 19 he is technically better than any other player at our club. Hopefully, for the lads sake he will move to a club who can nurture his obvious talent. I don't think this will be the last we see of Matts Daehli in English football although it could be a few years before his talent is shown on a bigger stage.
