Football to the common man is an addiction. Every year when season ticket renewal comes around I question my loyalty to the club. I loved it back in the day when you had the paper season ticket and they knew you personally as there were only 1000 or so tickets sold but that era has long gone.

Like i said.... to get addicted to something it has to create that buzz, that high... but when someone comes along and changes what you are actually addicted to..... it is very very easy to quit.

There are 3 key factors in all this, obviously the rebrand, the end of the 'golden ticket' prices and the shit football on display.
Maybe you can deal with one of these factors, but when 3 are dished up at the same time it is a bitter pill to swallow.

I feel it is now or never. I will not renew my ticket after 25+ years until we go back to blue.

Im sure many feel the same, but I simple cannot deal with the lies . Every week there is some kind of 'apology' from the club. Whether it is from Slade or the board or the players there is always an apology. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO APOLOGISE EVERY BLOODY WEEK!

Thats about it from me.... I don't post much on the forum, but felt I had to say my bit on this. Ta.

While I'm at it... Marching is fun, bit of a laugh, gets the press involved etc... but Tan simply doesn't care. It is publicity for him. That's how dictators work! When there are 3-4k marching and 20k in the stadium he simply will not care.

We need banners inside. TAN OUT etc.... players wont get distracted... they are mercenaries anyway.

The only way for the Club to avoid a mass boycott on renewing season tickets and buying match day tickets is to
completely reverse the rebrand and get us back in Blue at home and with our Bluebird badge. Anything less than that will trigger more protests and boycotts.

It will be interesting to see what the club will announce. If the tickets are cheap enough I'll probably renew but knowing the club they'll just take a tenner off the current price and call it a bargain.

Quite simple really. A £20 saving is nothing compared to getting our true identity back. A blue & white kit and a Bluebird on a proper badge. That is priceless!

Nothing but a return to our true identity, which carries the history is a must. Cheap incentives mean nothing. :bluescarf:

They can give me Premier seats, free booze and a limo to take me home, and its still NO BLUE NO RENEW from me.

It's gonna take a lot for me to renew next season. I've lost most of the love I had for the club. Most of my friends have stopped going. It's not the same club that I came to love and follow home and away. I try to find enthusiasm to take my son but even him saying "are we going" doesn't give me the will to go. I'll see this season out and then see how I feel in the summer. Sad times at the City

I don't know which is the sadder sight - the team I used to support playing in red, or the dwindling number of fans who still bother to turn up, in blue shirts watching them play............

If all fans walked and said no to the rebrand at the start we would have had our identity back by now :blue
Going to the games each week just keeps Tan at our club , stop giving him the money and he will fu-k off :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

But so do the vast majority on here but they look at the bigger picture.
My not renewing to try to regain our identity does not mean you are not a supporter.
It means you are willing to sacrifice something short term for something that is much bigger.
