Got to keep him for now I'm afraid, even though he wasn't the right choice in the beginning he's our 3rd manager in a year. You can't keep sacking managers so for me he had to stay unfortunately.

We should've appointed Pulis and I believe he would've come. Except that Tan wouldn't be able to manipulate him - he's far too determined. I'm not a fan of Slade do far, but it would just increase the chaos sacking him. He must change his chosen system and also rest players like Gunnarsson and Alf who aren't performing.

Out. VT quickly canned OGS so there's no sentiment as he could see it was a wrong appointment & you need to make those changes double-quick. The same should be done with Slade and quickly as its clearly another gash managerial decision. Then he needs to get Pulis in and revert the colour and badge back which would give him the best possible chance of driving value into the club and making it attractive to sell thus recouping as much as he can and 'leaving the club in the best possible condition etc' when he leaves. Unless like the debt to equity, that was all guff too? These two actions would be the foundation for a fightback to any chance of promotion which he sees purely as a tool to make the club more attractive to off-load. And he's get a shit-load of free publicity as he likes that.

What worries me is the manner of his exit as he clearly doesn't give a hoot about us fans. I have zero confidence in his and his sycophant board in football related decisions as they will just be emperors-new-clothes nodding donkeys looking after their own interests. We are now halfway through the season and looking at a mid-table finish at best given our present form. Dalman/Choo stated that the 'business plan' was based on an immediate return to the PL or else it would mean 'financial challenges' to the club. You'd kinda think an investment banker would have built contingencies into the plan based on the fact that all their football related key decisions have been pants. If immediate promotion back to the PL is fundamental to their plan, then why choose a Division 3 journeyman to do the job?

I remember one of VT's many strange analogies when he said that he gave MM funds to go out and buy a Bentley. Well, VT has bought a Bentley but then decided to put a 2 Litre Ford engine in it as he thinks it's reliable, gets the job done and cheaper.

On a personal note, I don't think Vinnie would be quite so well off if he hadn't been 'awarded' the Malaysian lottery rights which has funded the lottery of his other businesses.

I was willing to give him a chance and give him my backing. It's obvious now he's friggin useless and totally out of his depth. When the Brentford fans were singing he's getting sacked in the morning, I was thinking to myself I hope you're right. I'd have Dave Jones back in a heartbeat over this buffoon!

Funny how this time last year the members of this board were clamouring to keep a manager in place who was out of his depth, but this year are clamouring to get rid of a manager for the same reason.

Say what you like, but Tan made the right call about Malky (even if he was subsequently wrong about Solskjaer). Let's hope he is right about this one too.

For what it's worth, the players saved Slade's job on Saturday by perking up in the second half. Last time we went 3-0 down in the first half of a home league game Malky got sacked.

I'm not a big fan of sacking your manager mid season, and for that reason I'd like to give him more time.

Are you referring to a manager that got us promoted and took us to our highest position since 1962. All this and under the difficult circumstances of an owner with a big grudge against who has shown a stubborn character so much that even opposition fans are showing sympathy to us.

To say Tan made thee right call is the most stupid statement I have read on here specially as we are now a division lower and looking like a club that has totally imploded.

And to say the players saved Slades job is another stupid statement. Slade is Tans appointment and is here to build a cheap squad. Tan does not give a damn if we go down a league, he wants the books balanced so he can pocket the parachute payments.

I disagree, Tan took far to long to see Malky was way out of his depth, should have gone after Villa away for me.

Slade has to go though.

Slade is not the man for the job. But it does not matter who comes because that f*cking clown tan is in charge.

while he is at the club we are going to struggle. He threw money at the problem and we had a bit of a lucky season when we got promoted to the premier.

Until tan has gone we are fucked, also no one is going to buy a struggling club in debt with disgruntled fans who are leaving in their droves.

Tan out - Blue in
