Manga in for morrison
Fabio in for connolly
Kadeem or daehli in for kimbo
Adeyemi in for whittingham
Ravel in for le fondre
Macheda in for jones

This side needs a massive change we have the players in the squad to turn things around but slade wont make these changes because he clueless and whats more worrying is that our style of play is shocking and non existent

Pointless picking Ravel Morrison - he's leaving us next week. Whittingham gets more goals and assists than anybody else - would be lunacy to leave him out. Fabio can't defend to save his life. Morrison got 2 of our 3 goals on Saturday. Macheda and Jones are as bad as each other! Would agree that Kimbo needs to be dropped - I see Daehli buggering off back to Norway in January ( along with his fellow countrymen Eikrem and Berget ) - so yes, Kadeem Harris in for the very disappointing Kim pending Pilkington's return.

We have ended up with a squad of players who I do not see as Cardiff City players ( after supporting the Bluebirds since the late 60's ). Most of the squad are not bothered who they play for. I like to watch Marshall, Whittingham, McNaughton, Gunnerson, Noone and Turner of the present bunch - who are good Championship players. Most of the rest I see as here today, gone tomorrow. ( Your Kenwyne Jones and Macheda type players have not got Cardiff in their blood - unlike for example Earnie, Leggy and Kav. This coupled with the rebrand saga has left me more disillusioned than at any time I can remember>
As a season ticket holder living in Somerset, the immediate future looks bleak and how much longer I will keep paying for my season ticket and paying a fortune in petrol is uncertain. The price of the season ticket next year could be crucial. :bluescarf:

Whittingham has to go his couple of assists and goals just paper over the cracks to his overall play which is damaging to the team as a whole imo. We need a high energy box to box midfielder who has urgency and can drive forward attacks and dribble with the ball from midfield, whitts is no way that type of player!
Mugsy can you answer me these two questions honestly?

1. Are we lacking the type of midfielder i described in our side?

2. Does whitts have them attributes and can he do that job?

Yes - we are lacking that type of player - eg Jordon Mutch - but there is room for that type of player plus Whitts - whose free kicks, corners, assists and goals are vital to us. Your suggestion is like asking whether Silva of Man City could do YaYa Toure's role in the Man City team - and again the answer would be no - but both play vital, different roles for their team - to make the most of their particular skills. That's my honest opinion.

Well we need a defensive midfielder in this team who likes a tackle and thats gunnarson at the moment, and yes you said it we need a mutch type player..

so if say mutch was here who would you start mugsy out of whitts and mutch???

I would start with both.

You couldnt though could you because you would have to cater for a defensive midfielder a ball winning midfielder who sits more, if you started with both whitts and mutch opposition would have a field day dont you see that?so you would have to choose one or the other surely?

Cobblers - you can have 3, 4 or 5 in midfield - so could choose both ( as we have done in the past ). We shall just have to disagree on the attributes of Peter Whittingham.

In slades system there there would only be room for a defensive midfielder and then either whitts or mutch. I know what mine and most fans choice would be and that would be jordan mutch so that settles the debate mugsy my friend!

And yes we will agree to disagree on whitts

I'm afraid I'm old school with regard to IT matters - wouldn't have a clue how to set up a poll on here! In any event the poll would need to be should Whittingham play or be dropped? ( Mutch has buggered off to pastures new and is so injury prone he wouldn't be available to play anyway! ).
