Are you still going to remain to be a Moderator on here ? I'm only asking as if Majority of the current Moderators don't renew does that mean we will have constant one sided negativity on the forum ?
Why would it be negativity if I dont go to games?
Not really thought about it tbh and dont know who else is or isnt renewing.
Only asking, I've noticed a few mods are not renewing and I just wondered what are we all going to be posting about if you are not watching the games

I am currently only using it for a social thing to meet up with the very few City mates I have left who still go. Most of my gang stopped when the rebrand kicked in. Last season was actually worse than this one for me, and it was dream of mine to see City in the Prem, on MOTD in red with that badge, killed me. I will if i dont renew, however do more aways next season with the money saved and cherry pick the games where we wear blue. I will always be a Cardiff City fanatic, and it will be upsetting to not renew, but its my own little statement of intent against the rebrand in the hope that many others will join me. I should have done it in year one of the rebrand but couldn't give up the drug that is CCFC, I almost stopped halfway through last season, even with those great results Man City, Man U etc. If my wife had a facelift and became unattractive and unrecognisable to me I would leave, bit like how i feel about my club. Red and that badge is a facelift to far for me, and with my ST price rising considerably my time is up. Following Wales has become so much more enjoyable.
If I go through with it......, but I live in hope, to be back in blue, then I won't care if we are in The League Of Wales, Season Ticket every year then!
All Vincent has to do is say he was badly advised and restore the colours and badge, unite the club, make us more attractive to prospective buyers, and lets kick on. Then all these threads arguments and comments will stop, and we will all be as one once again.

Totally agree with that.

What noise is that?
Have you actually read all the posts over the last month or so & you believe that these guys with 20/30/40 years of following are plastics? Have you listened to their individual stories & reasons & still think they are just pretend fans?
How sad.

I don't agree and I don't find it bizarre. From day 1 I was against the rebrand but still went to games. I found my enjoyment of matches and my connection to the club had reduced compared to previous seasons when we had played in blue. (In fairness the move to the new stadium also added a bit to the disconnect.)
However I kept going religiously and renewed my season ticket. Last year after 40 years supporting the club, I wanted to see them in the EPL. Did I enjoy it? - Nowhere near as much as in previous years and definitely less than the promotion year. seeing the team run out at home in red in the EPL really rankled with me.
This year it has got worse still to the point where I have missed around 5 home games so far even though I am still a season ticket holder. Now I don't feel like renewing for the first time ever.
I suppose you could compare it to a boxer who gets knocked to the floor. He gets up and comes back for more, then he gets knocked down again, pulls himself up to his knees and pushes himself forward. But at some point he takes the punch that knocks him out. Season 1 in red was the first punch. Season 3 has me seeing double and just maybe the knockouot blow will be season 4 in red.
Yes this is the third season of the rebrand, but when you love something with a passion, it's hard to let it go. I don't think this is bizarre at all, I think it is human nature.![]()
