Allan
Well not interested in helping them,I'm interested in helping City's future players :thumbright: :thumbright:

Good and fair post Annis, the goodwill for countrymen of his training with the academy is not there. They are bound to be rubbish too compared to the other boys in the academy who got there on merit

Goodwill? Ffs academy staff are all new been there 6wks haven't they? So they don't want youngsters training there because They are from tans academy?? Pathetic view! :old:

If they are not going to be in the mix to gain a professional contract with the club then it's a waste of a locker at the academy

Not all our academy players are from wales. Our club has a scouting network covering Reading Swindon Bristol Midlands and even further out than that. The majority of the local academy players are in the under 16 age groups (grassroots) of this both cardiff and Swansea have hundreds of local players per age groupU10 U11 U12 and so on.by the time they reach under 18s, only the best local lads are retained and mixed with others from all over the country.

Maybe the club should open up the academy to rich kids from Malaysia and the rest of Asia, could be a real money-spinner
