Plenty of friendly/celebrations ones Rick, by us and the away clubs.

Some naughty ones,City fans ran on the pitch v Jacks a few times,v Luton FACUP etc.

Wales v Yugoslavia, after that our fences were put up.

The fences were up before the Yugoslavia match Annis, but I know what your talking about. ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You're right Rick, the fences had been put up a couple of years earlier and were definitely in place, when we played Man Utd in 1974!

What about Leeds? That went sour. We were only celebrating but then the police got involved and it spiralled!

Goats, West Ham use to be waiting for us in the park by the ground.

City always took good away support to Orient in the old days, they would bring 40-50 fans to us.

Good to meet you again the other day :thumbright: :thumbright:

The mother of all pitch invasions had to be Millwall at Luton- perfect execution if the invasion manoeuvre, even the Old Bill shit themselves until Millwall chose to give them their ground back

Worst Pitch invasion at Ninian Park for nastiness was early to mid 70,s vs. Nottingham Forest, they came on from the enclosure nearest the Canton Stand and we came on from the Bob Bank near the Canton Stand, remember a Forest skin head with a red ands white scarf wrapped around both wrists

On this day I arrived late at the grounds tube station as 6 of us got lost en route, there were about 50 of them on the opposite platform as the tube pulled off, not the nicest walk I ever had :) quite a few were battered and bruised as they had just battled the few 100 city who were still queuing to get in as we got in the ground about half time, relieved!
Nice to see you the other day too I'm off shopping there again tomorrow in fact

Anyone remember a cup game at Gillingham in the 80's I think that was called off. We were already there so loads of us decided to go back into London to watch a game. A lot of us went to watch Orient V WBA and early in the game we made ourselves known, all stood in an enclosure on the side of the pitch we proceeded to walk across the pitch towards a large group of Orient fans who were giving it large. It was funny to soon see them clambering over their seats to get away as we kept walking across the pitch much to the amazement of one of the goalies and some players! Pretty soon though the police were throwing us out of the ground and as we made our way around the stadium the Albion fans threw whatever they could get their hands on at us... Crazy days!!! :bluescarf:

Three men charged over Tottenham Hotspur pitch invasions
Three men have been charged following a series of pitch invasions during a Europa League match at White Hart Lane.

Three pitch invasions caused the match to be suspended just before half-time at the Tottenham Hotspur versus Partizan Belgrade match on 27 November.

Nathaniel Thompson, Helder Gomes, and Daniel Jarvis have been charged with pitch invasion.

Tottenham were charged by European football's governing body UEFA after the incidents.

The match was suspended for around ten minutes.

Mr Thompson, 23, of Lothair Road north London; Mr Gomes, 22, of Grantham Road, south London; and Mr Jarvis, 26, of Whitehill Road, Gravesend have been bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on 18 December.

The Football Association of Wales has received a £3,900 fine from UEFA after the pitch invasion by fans during last month’s European qualifying win in Andorra.

UEFA decided to take action after a number of supporters spilled onto the pitch to celebrate Gareth Bale’s decisive 81st minute strike in the 2-1 victory at the Estadi Nacional.

Under disciplinary guidelines, the punishment for such crowd problems range from a warning to a points deduction, but the governing body opted for a fine.

The Wales players, who had fought back from a 1-0 deficit, attempted to calm down fans after the pitch invasion.

Chris Coleman’s side currently sit top of Group B with seven points after last week’s 2-1 win over Cyprus at the Cardiff City Stadium.
