Re: Will you renew your season ticket? ' Poll '

We'd still go to games but given that its fairly easy to get a family ticket for 4 for £40 and that I generally miss about 3 games a season its almost not worth splashing out for a season ticket.

Regardless of the rebrand, ST prices, etc if City carry on performing as they are and RS keeps stripping the quality from the team then crowds will tumble.

The performance against Reading was dire and the worst game that I have seen at the new stadium (only missed 1 game). Together with the abysmal away form then fans have better ways to spend their hard earned money. I can understand why 4K ST holders are not going. Yes 3 its is great but who wants to sit in a cold damp stadium, with no atmosphere watching abysmal football? With the talk of RS ditching the quality players then perhaps things are only going to get worse.

We've been shit in the past for long periods so the quality of football doesn't bother me, it's just it feels broken and soul less to me. My passion for the club has slowly dwindled away, it's difficult to be proud of what the club is right now.

Same probably will, won't be happy with a price rise though, that could make a difference ????

Keep the price freeze

Only thing that proper irritates me at the club at the moment is the treatment that Slade is getting and did get before he took the job, embarrassing and the Whittingham sub situation v Norwich home last season, I question the support of some supporters if they actually do support this club.

Yes of course, players come and go, managers come and go, owners come and go, but a supporter is there for life.

I will pick my games at home and just go to away games if we are in Red. I will be renewing if we go back to Blue. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Dull enough to pay it and they will charge it. Loyalty goes both ways.

The reasons for renewing or not are personal to everyone and their circumstances, so no one can pass comment and generalise on why one supporter is or isn't renewing. I won't be renewing because I simply do not enjoy going to home games any longer. I appreciate its different for myself compared to most as I have to put in a round trip from London, but that is doable when all the other factors are in place, like meeting up with mates and being part of something, that though, does not exist any more. In the stadium itself, there is a general sense of disconnection which gets worse month by month. If I lived half an hour from the ground then I might think differently and renew.
For me, the football is just one small part of following a club, it has always been about the camaraderie, not just with mates but with others around you. There used to be around 200 loyal Cardiff fans in and around London, who went regularly, that's now down to a dozen or so! I shall continue to follow City away, as there is still some small sense of camaraderie on away days, even better when we play in blue and it looks like Cardiff again.
