I won't renew next season irregardless of where we finish (inc promotion). He is losing so called diehard fans, and whilst he presides over a such a badly run club, he won't be attracting plastics. He's taking us for mugs.
No it bloody well doesn't and you are wrong to suggest that 'renewing' supporters are anything but loyal to CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL CLUB itself rather than some temporary owner!![]()
As for "taking us for mugs"? Well, I guess that depends on any individual's perspective. Those who truly believe they were being "taken for mugs" actioned their right to 'walk away' some time ago. Don't necessarily agree with that, but I certainly respect it more than those that stayed and still 'claim' not to support what is going on!![]()
I support the club and not some temporary owner, who will do what he wants no more or no less than any other owner in recent history (albeit one change so much more unpalatable than any we had seen before) and for that reason I will renew my season ticket without regard for the agenda-filled people who forgot so easily where we nearly were!
Temporary Tan or no club to support??
Hmmm, let me think about that one for a minute!![]()
You've completely misunderstood my point. I have never questioned the loyalty of renewing supporters, OR the ones who walked when the red was imposed. However, I understand that everyone has their tolerance limits.
I was one of the people who chose to campaign against the rebrand from within, because in the premiership, I would have been replaced by someone who was just grateful to be watching us play Man U et al, not the type to yearn for a past they were not involved with. I thought tan was capable of getting the message, but his stubbornness knows no limits. And I just don't enjoy it anymore.
You did make me laugh when you said that tan has done what he wants as much as previous owners.
Fair enough, fella, and I apologise if I took anything you believe in the wrong way![]()

Think it was in reference to fact all previous owners were in it for what they can get out of club! And did it way they wanted to, in that respect tan is same but OK went a bit further in some respects!

Correct, Allan![]()
And let's not forget that certain recent owner(s) only didn't go along with certain controversial plans solely because of fan pressure; lots of it thankfully from senior people on this Forum![]()
The difference between him/them and Tan is that Tan's 'vision' rightly or wrongly doesn't include supporters having too much of a say in how he develops what he perceives to be HIS club and HIS money!![]()
Personally, I believe that a 'lack of supporter involvement' is fundamentally damaging to the club as a whole, but we are where we are and the current impasse will not be broken until both sides start appreciating the position of the other!![]()

Hey up Sven hope to see you on the coach some time soon.
Now a vast majority did appreciate what he done IE buying his red kit and turning the stadium red. Some lost friends over his re brand. So what did he try doing next ? He wanted to change the name as well. He could not give two shits for the fan and what we think. Now it can safely be said he has never appreciated the City faithfull never!! all he is in it for is the $ and the very high profile that he has attained. No one had heard of Vincent Sri Tan sri Piwi tri Tanovski the dictator before he came here. But now we all do. As Leeds fans sang Vincent Tan he does what he wants not Whitts
