The squad is to big that's obvious but slade does seem to be lacking some class with his comments.
Even with the huge squad he hasn't made the most of it, still needing to out 3 CB's on a bench one week.

But we will always give him a chance, every manager should be given a chance but as fans we are allowed our opinions are we not? Surely that is what a forum is?

Our opinions are virtually the same about most things regarding the club, not surprising as we've been following them for about the same length of time. I honestly believe that there are supporters who are so pro Malky that whoever manages us will get stick because they have taken his place. I was a big Malky supporter, and feel let down by him. I think he took us all as mugs, and had such a big ego believed he was untouchable. Just my opinion, probably the only thing I disagree with you about. My view on Tan is pretty much the same as yours.

The bottom line is that Ole believed in competition within the squad. The more players competing for a start, the stiffer competition and the greater chance that some of them would play to their full potential. I don´t think you will find a group of players in any club where every single one is satisfied with his situation, but with a rotation system, you can effort having a bigger squad as more players will be involved.

For Slade, on the other hand, a squad of this size obviously is unmanageable, as his philosophy is totally different. Fair enough that he´s making a point out of that. First of all, he believes in building relations, something he has proven by holding on to a fixed line-up. But this thing about lack of relations, just doesn´t make any sense. The squad is far too big, in his opinion, but yet he´s unable to find anyone that can work together?

Should never criticise previous manager. Pointless exercise.
If Slade uses his intelligence, he would see Ole has done him a favour, he has given him choice.
