Could'nt care less about Malky or Wigan. I am a Cardiff supporter and neither of them have anything to do with this club. Can't understand this obsession with the man, he's been gone a while now, why don't we concentrate on our own club and manager and let Wigan worry about Malky.

Yes, but it's almost every day. There are 4 separate threads about him on the 1st page alone. I personally don't see why he shouldn't be back in football, but be honest, nobody planted those messages that cost him his job, and he had a strange way of spending the club's money.

Taylor and cowrie will be very happy! Was only a matter of time before he got a job, be interesting to see how he does, I really don't care, he has gone, to him we were just a job, that's football... There are us the fans and those to whom it is ax well paid job.

Given his history Malky's story was always going to attract comment. But I agree, now he has a route back to normality, let's move on, and cut the Malky discussion.
If Malky believes he can get Wigan into the play-offs then Slade should be targeting automatic promotion.

Agree with this.
So many saints on here it's laughable.
Their a decent club with a top owner.
I hope he does well & Wigan prosper except when we play them.

Whatever anyone says about Malky Mackay, the fact remains that he was our most successful manager and got us promoted to the top flight after 51 years and deserves respect for that achievement alone.
Some have slated his style of football but I am willing to bet that anyone on this forum would prefer us to be playing that way and be in the top 2 promotion places rather than where we are now.
We held the top spot from November 24th in our promotion season playing his way and although it was a pragmatic style it was effective.
As for the texts he sent, hopefully he has learnt from that and will become a better human being, he at least has accepted that he did wrong and apologised at the time.

Good luck to him . Hope he does well .

For me - put to one side Malky's apparent racism etc.
What bugs me is he shat on us fans bigtime in trying to save his own skin. He lapped up us singing his name at Anfield trying to make out he was totally innocent.
I don't care where he works, what he does or how successful he is but I won't make him feel welcome when he comes back to Cardiff.
Doesn't really seem genuine to me.

Wow (again)!
Did you actually read who said what
properly, fella????
It was actually CalShep that made those comments and (you can check it out) I personally have never accused you of (a) wishing Wigan would do better than Cardiff, or (b) of being a Malky fan
I try not to respond to your posts in the main, but on this occasion I think the person posting "crap" is at your end of the line!
Any further (incorrect) statements to make, please 'pm' me and we can discuss "scrawny" and "weasel" at the same time!

Great news I wish malky all the best and hats off to Dave whelan for having the balls to give him the job, I'm sure if somebody checked all the texts and e-mails of the majority of people they would find something that could be classed as racist, sexist or homophobic probably jokes, how many people can say hand on heart they have never ever sent or received a joke of this kind

Not jokes though really were they, about people he was supposed to be managing/leading.
Besides how many of us are managers to a group of young people in the public eye?

Apparently plenty on here and so it seems everyone on CCFC mad, stones and glass houses spring to mind.

annis a question for you when this fixture comes up Wigan v Cardiff secretly who will you want to win, mmmm
Wed Nov 19, 2014 7:04 pm
For me it will be interesting to see how Wigan do.
The Watford I saw under Malky where an entertaining side. I saw all 3 Cardiff v Watford games before Malky joined us and I felt they were an exciting team to watch. We won 2 of those games but got hammered in the other one. Our 2 wins were down to the fact we had a strong attacking force against a team that like to attack. So although Malky was not my number one choice I must admit I was looking forward to remaining an attacking side. I was quite surprise we were nothing like that when he took over.
I put it all down to the fact he was under a lot of pressure to get us up. Tan supported him but Malky took no chances with his tactics. He carried on with this when we got up to the premier and I believe he could have kept us there. I blame the off the field going ons that killed us. He wont be under that environment at Wigan so lets see what sort of team Wigan turn out to be.
Wed Nov 19, 2014 7:43 pm
I 2nd that. Hardly crime of century we laugh and joke about stuff like that everyday on factory floor. Yet wouldn't call us sexist or racist give the guy a chance.

and no i don't want them to beat us but if we don't go up then yeah why not malky? ?
Wed Nov 19, 2014 8:13 pm
Well I wish him the best of luck in his new role, what has happened has happened, good luck Malky

Lets be honest tans a lunatic hes been trying to investigate ole to now i mean wheres the other owners you hear of doing this the mans a nutjob

No doubt Tan is now sat on his yacht thinking of ways he can blame Mackay for the dinosaurs going extinct, the great fire of London and the sinking of the titanic. The guys a mug, he will target every manager we have under his ownership - that's a guarantee. A complete f##k wit as is anyone that still manages to find a reason to defend him in any way whatsoever.
Mackay was tasked with getting us promoted - Done. He was tasked with keeping us out of the relegation zone in the premier league under his management - Done. And a Wembley final thrown into the mix - yeah what a shit job he did! Worst manager ever!!! - that's sarcasm by the way, for you simple minded tan supporters (just in case the big words confuse you!).
Was there money wasted on a few shite signings? Yes there was. Even Alex Ferguson signed taibi, bebe etc - it happens. You would have thought someone with tans PhD in football would understand that.....oh wait!?!?
Good luck to mackay, and well done to whelan for proving HR is the opposite of Vincent Tan - a football club owner that understands football. No self proclaimed PhD in football Vinny boy u muppet.

Good for Dave Whelan! I think hes an honourable man and I wish he were in charge here instead of what weve ended up with. Oh and by the way I dont condone what Malky did and I dont think that much of him as a manager, but short of a minority of unspeakable crimes I think anyone who has shown remorse should be given a chance of rehabilitation.

And Tan also mentions Malky every other week, plus Malky is on all the main sports news's.

You might feel different if you had mixed race kid like me. Let's face it a massive percentage of football league players are black, most of them British. Wasn't offended by the supposedly homophobic or sexist ones they were banter but the racist ones were nasty IMO and I cannot see how he can command the respect of any non white players he may manage. It makes kick it out a joke I'm sorry but I think its a disgrace and sends out totally the wrong message.
