I agree it is more than time to move on from Malky.
But, ironically he is probably exactly the kind of manager you need if you want to get promoted out of the Championship.
He has achieved "4 promotions", from this league, as a player and manager, with 4 different teams.
I think most of us would be happy to have a manager with such experience.

No doubt clubs will look at him, and probably from this league.

Ole had noway near the same amount of millions that malky had....ole was shit yes but malky had a war chest and blew it all down the pan

As I have said I have no issue if a club are stupid enough to employ Malky with all the un-necessary baggage that he would bring with him to the job, however I can't understand why people on here state that he DESERVES another chance WHY? He was professionally incompetent in the transfer market, wasting millions, he showed a huge error in judgement by trading racist, sexist and homophobic texts with another member of staff and denied it until the evidence was overwhelming. He had the arrogance to instruct legal proceedings against his employer, he led the supporters up the garden path and orchestrated a covert media campaign against the owner in order to protect himself, which in hindsight probably worsened our chances of staying up. Most honourable men would have left the club when initially confronted, but not Malky, he chose to look after number one in an attempt to extract as much as possible. Unfortunately he found that, there are far wiser and more ruthless operators out there.
There are many managers out there who deserve an opportunity ahead of Malky.

Malky Mackay, I know youve heard it before, but ' if ' Wigan sack their manager, Malky is clear favourite for the Job, but there is much more to it than that, Malky has been to their last few home games as a guest of the Chairman and the Chairman is a big admirer of Malkys, but shall we say not a fan of Tans.

Will be interesting to see what happens?

Personally I feel Malky should be allowed back in to management and given a second chance, he has been punished with all the publicity he has had and loss of work now for 11 months.

Be good to see how he does in this league

Ole had the same amount as Malky did in the championship. Look where Ole got us.

Also we got our money back for the likes of Caulker and Medel. In fact we made a profit on Mutch a Malky signing.

Only money wasted was on Acorn.

Are you for real, MM played the media right up until the end! The mole has gone into the earth and left a bad stench between supporters, I wouldn't say he "deserves" a second chance, if he gets a job in our league I'd be very surprised, he's probably better off pushing a cv through Legia Warsaw's door where they like a bit of "racist" banter.

No appearances on MoTD, no big media interest in his every word, and no job offers for a man many (pundits) said was too good for Tan's Cardiff City and would soon be 'snapped up' by a Premier League team!
