Some of these players need to put in a stellar performance today to repay the faith shown in them by Russell Slade.

Fabio dropped for connolly at fullback? I didnt expect him to change much but seems an obscure choice,
still only 1 striker on the bench, No Daehli despite Morrison not being involved.

I hope we win for slades sake, seems to be digging a whole for himself at the moment.

I bet fabio is too much of an attacking fullback for him. He just seems to go for the solid workhorse over flair and ability on the ball.

for me connolly isnt even a fullback.

No Daehli? No Guerra again? Should be playing 4-4-1-1, with Daehli an extra midfielder playing 'in the hole'
Slade

Agreed, Connolly is a good centre half but a shit full back

Brum to win 2-1

It's his way of telling Fabio that the first job of a full back is to defend would be my guess.

Spot on. Especially away from home.

Good shout. The young lad has been left out in the cold IMO. Got genuine pace and match changing capability

he has showing his class is the development squad and when he was on loan at Brentford, slade said he would go to lower leagues for players who shows fight..well harris surely ticks the boxes, how he has not had a chance in the near 2 years we signed him is shocking

You can understand him not playing in the Prem; he was gaining good experience at Brentford until he was injured. How he's not had a go this season is worrying though, it seemed like the perfect time to get him in the frame.

This is dire. Both sides are really bad, wish cardiff would at least take their chances.

12 attempts on goal for Cardiff and only 2 on target! Not good enough!

We are watching two relegation candidates here. Cardiff really are dire ... no shape, Whitts too deep (in fact midfield all over the place!), long ball from back to front, ALF couldn't hit a barn door, no leadership ... SLADE OUT :laughing6: :laughing6:

Yes appears to choose wrong ball frequently!

Shocking. Why do we think that the long ball to the corner (overhit) is going to be productive?
I dread to think of what good sides will (continue) to do to us away from home :sad7:

No flair, lack of ideas going forward, lots of long balls. Really worried we will end up mid table.

2 years and countless millions spent on players and our transformation into a poor side now seems nearing completion. A couple more months under slade and our third rate coaching staff and the job will be done.

A point away isn't a bad result but slade is doing his best to make everyone questions his moves. I think he will be gone by Jan.

Have to agree can't see him being here for the January transfer window, he's already being questioned.

Considering it was brum and they are terrible its a bad result. If we can't even beat the bottom teams we won't go far.

if our strikers can put away the chances that they get we would have won by half time, its very frustrating :old:

Our first away cleansheet of the season is I suppose a positive but after 9 away games only Blackpool and overselves have yet to win away from home. We had the chances to win today but yet again Le Fondre has missed our best chance and is starting to look like a player who couldn't score in a Hong Kong knocking shop, he may work hard but that's a given he was brought here to score goals so you have to question why he still starts.

Russell Slade may be an experienced manager but with every game that goes by he looks more and more like Dave Jones, 4-4-2 and it either works or it doesn't. I just can't see the guy being here that long and right now we need to be asking when will we get to 50 points because, in my opinion, we are looking at nothing more than survival this season.

The DJ comment has been made a few times. So to add fuel to the fire, would DJ be a better choice than RS?

It's because they aren't good enough.
