Something has to change for away games if progress is to be made. I didn't see this one coming. The margin is the most shocking thing. With a defence leaking goals and the frustration for benched or dropped players, maybe there's a real case for a home and separate away set up.
Descent home form is being cancelled out by lack-lustre performances on the road.
Something has to change,but what?
If we beat Brum on Sat, City fans will make out all is well, but it is not.
Perhaps there's an element of naivety when the side is set up for away games. The tactics need to be a lot more defensive and the whole of midfield have to be willing to sprint back at the least sign of danger. The work rate will be huge but so will the benefits in my opinion. It can come over as negative, but look at the successful Italian sides who put 8 behind the ball.
At home, the attacking, more expansive game can be adopted and will no doubt bring points.
Just a thought.

Yes there is a lot to be said on that and that's why I think Slade needs a more experienced coach behind him

Totally! RS is a good guy but an old hand at the tiller would help. Also not sure about the amount of "extra" training and its effects on matchday performances.

Fabio, does make mistakes thats why he is not a Premier League player, but he is a high class Championship player

I think he has been excellent and in time will be a premiership defender.
