Both, Managers have to take some credit when we win, they definately get stick when we lose, the players Bale included seem to want to play for us, he must take some credit for that.

I said at the time we should have sounded out Coleman to see if he was interested to replace Malky. I've no doubt we'd still be in the Prem if we went for him

Its like saying did Bales passion and drive hype up King to make a rash challenge. Totally pointless, totally counter productive and totally brainless. Bale wasn't even the best Welsh player last night, let alone single handedly drag us from the jaws of defeat ffs

who was your MoM?

Bale, Hal Robson Kanu & Taylor for me were outstanding along with Cotteril who Coleman stumbled into finding out he is worthy of a starting 11 birth. Williams & Chester were excellent too, Gunter played with high energy. I'm going through the whole team as they really pulled together and getting good performances. Ledley was excellent, I must stop there.

One thing I have to say is the move to Spurs for Ben Davies has not been good for his career. Taylor got the LB role and can't disagree on current form. Davies is not playing football and he looked shaky against Bosnia, albeit being played out of position. I think he's made a mistake to join Spurs. The jacks got it right getting in Sigurdsson again, what a technique he has. scored 2 against Netherlands!!

Id say Robson-Kanu. He was excellent when he came on in the last match too, miss aside. For me, yesterday, Bale almost tried to do too much but his natural ability will always make him one of our better players even on a bad day. But like you said, everyone played well and im so proud of this team at the moment as it looked bleak for so long. It seems its finally clicked. As typified by Kanu's goal, it was a very good team performance against a side that beat Bosnia.

Kanu was awesome, strong and run himself into the ground, great finish for his goal. After watching City's abysmal performances, I really needed the Welsh team to show City fans what the minimum requirement is, Effort! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

TheRow wrote:So when we win its down to the players and when we lose its down to the manager? if we are to criticise Coleman when we lose we have to, by the same token, praise him when we win. Its amazing that so many can only praise the manager through gritted teeth and look for other reasons why we won. Best start to a campaign for 12 years, so cant fault him. BBC tonight are going with....

"A tactically disciplined display was enough, however, for a precious three points which gives Wales their best start to a qualifying campaign since 2002."

^ this ^
It's not only the during the games that the squad are up for it, it's the whole campaign that there's a reported togetherness where everybody is determined, happy & united.
This is obviously down to the manager.
I, personally, didn't like Dave Jones but continued to support the City.
Forget your bitterness & support him & your country.

Have to give Coleman credit i think his Bosnia tactics we're spot on. Not often you'll get me praising him but can't deny it.
