Our club has massive potential regardless of off-field irregularities. If it really is up for sale, I can imagine there would be a fair few interested.

Unless we get someone like the Venky's or someone who wants to keep us red without the other plus points we get from having Tan.

Grass always greener.

We know that after posting a thread you say nothing more on that thread but can you clarify how Glenn Roeder came to be involved with the club please and why Vicent Tan seems so keen to have him on board?

I realise you will probably not reply on this thread but perhaps next time you post you could give us an answer.

I Am lead to belive it was Mike Ashley who gave us the word on Roeder

Also can i add i am NOT Staff - As He / She does not post links or talks about JORDAN RHODES ;)

Prior to this, he founded the WMG Group in 2004. Between 1997 and 2004, Dalman was the first non-German to sit on the board of the German bank Commerzbank. Before joining Commerzbank, Dalman served as a Managing Director at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Capital Markets Limited, and Head of Japanese Equities and Equity Derivatives for Asia Pacific. Furthermore, from 1990 to 1995, he served as the Head of European and Japanese Equities at Credit Lyonnais Securities and Head of Quantitative Marketing at The Nikko Securities Europe.[7] In January 2012.

Dalman joined the Cardiff City F.C. board as the Bluebirds looked to return to the top flight and was subsequently made chairman in July 2013

How can a manager on that salary manage players who are on 500k and more a year?

I don't see Tan selling before this season ends unless the offer is an amount he can't turn down, should we fail to get promoted then I think Tan will asset strip the club to get out as much as possible then sell far cheaper than £80m, if the figure is indeed true.

I just dont believe that slade will be on 120k unless it's a heavily bonus related contract and 120k is basic wage

Separate entities from us.

He doesn't enjoy being at Cardiff any more.
We don't love him and he doesn't love us!

Cardiff City is just one long embarrassment for him now.

Let's just hope he can find a buyer!

I would put money on it that even with a price tag of £80 million Tan would still have loan notes against the club like SH did as he will make sure that he doesn't lose out. Which is what I've been saying all along!!!

But... What are we going to talk about if we play good football and have an owner who gives a shit? Who will we blame?! WHAT WILL WE COMPLAIN ABOUT?! OH GOD

Interesting numbers being floating around for a fan lead board...if it were possible I think we'd be onto a winner.

As for manager, does anyone not think Scott Young should be kept on board as a head coach with a bigger focus on getting the right director of football in? We have no need to rush back for Premiership football; the opportunity to rebuild properly with a solid, united identity is one the club should be taking, otherwise we'll find ourselves back in the Championship again in a worse situation than this time around.

This is a major problem for me: 10 highest earning players at the club earn a total of £350,000 per WEEK, while the post of manager is a THIRD of this per YEAR.

Where are the priorities?

Exactly! Spending Tan's money is spending the club's money in the end. If he leaves he will be owed money like SH and the Langston debt might as well be there as it was before.

Success is critical.

The story sound like a load of bollox to me. It might have been slightly believable but the author completly fcked it up by trying to convince us Slade would be on £120k which is only slightly more than he's on at orient. Who in their right mind is going to come here and work at this crazy club for that sort of money ? And £80m to buy the club? After tan spent a load on players and the new stand I can't see him selling at all let alone for £80m. If someone offered him £100m+ I think he'd consider it but at £80m he'd be making a loss? It maybe true but sounds like bullshit to me.
