Well said. I've followed ccfc for 35 years. Been an exile since 1989. I've brought my 4 kids up to be proud bluebirds. I've watched ccfc play over 130 different teams from maesteg park to Man Utd , visited between 40 and 50 grounds including both St James parks and spent thousands. The last game I really enjoyed was the carling cup final. Ben turners last minute equaliser was something else. The red has destroyed the club.until tan goes I shall not set foot inside the ccs. I'll do a few more aways this season but that is it. RIP a once proud club

Fair point, I can understand why people have become disillusioned with the club but do agree that as soon as the results go sour more people come out the woodwork

Yeah the carling cup was an amazing day, I even enjoyed getting spanked by west ham at Upton park. I'm praying there is a way back mate

I've posted a few topics about our fans not supporting the club and the more I think the more I am not enjoying the games. My first game was about 93 oxford home lost 4-1 paul moody hat rick but I was hooked. Never bought a season ticket but was very proud when we got to a level when from a throw in our player would pass it back to the throw in taker. Down the millennium for the win into the championship and been down bout 10 games a season since. Didn't have a chance last season as plastics took my tickets but been down 3 times this season,every time missus said good game yes ok hudd and Wigan win and Middlesboro loss but the more I think the more I didn't enjoy. Better atmosphere in a funeral 3 games I have been to with more interest in the rebrand than the game. The club is without doubt in so much a better place than when I first watched but I cant help feel I have lost my love for the club. Would love nothing more than all the fans unite in supporting the team for 90 minutes instead of the anti tan brigade being more interested in our clubs identity than giving our team 90 mins of support which I think would help in a massive upturn in the teams results. Already fans calling Slade a useless manager etc wont help the atmosphere or our team. Wish fans would remember where we were 15 years ago or even 5 years ago. If everybody who turned up for a game supported the team instead of slagging them off perhaps we as a club we could turn things around otherwise I really fear for our clubs long term future.

Join the list of fans leaving chief. It ain't gonna stop either. As it stands I won't renew my season ticket next season

I don't go anymore,and I agree that the club we loved is dead, and I find it insulting when people tell me I'm a plastic fan.. listen up- unless you were one of the 19 (yes 19) fans that traveled along with me to gay meadow to watch us in the auto glass trophy, traveled the UK and Europe not missing a game home or away for 8 years including the pre season tours to Scotland - which I doubt you are to be honest, I would pipe down and keep your opinions to yourself. I have eaten, breathed and bled Cardiff City like no other. My body is the proud owner of a club badge ( a real bluebird one!) that will be with me for life, I missed a parents wedding for a home game to stand on an uncovered grange end.. the club is my life, unfortunately that club died, and these recent tossers that tell everyone they "followed city for years" in reality are newbies that just don't get this club and us real "lifers". In my opinion you are as wanted at this club as VT is.

One day our club will be back and these pointless tossers will doorfit in with the long term fans or be shown the door

What a load of bollocks. The last 2 seasons have been the worst ever supporting City in my 21 years (3/4 of that as a season ticket holder), 100's of home games, 50 odd away grounds. Seen the premiership and jumping ship!!! Bollocks. Put us back in league 2 in blue and I can visit some of my previously visited grounds. #Clueless

This sat is my last game untill a change of owner down the CCS. I got better shit to do than this chore of a club i dont even recognise anymore, so enoughs enough the only way (HE TAN) will see sence is by peoples feet. Its taken me long enough to realise that all the moaning in the world all week long about tan and then turning up at games makes me look a f*cking idiot so thats me done for now. Theres a lot of sense in this post. If owners want to treat fans like they are purely customers, then fans need to treat owners with the same contempt. If you are not happy with a product then don't buy it. They will soon get the point.

I dont really want to go, but its what i do on a saturday. looking forward to cathing up with my mate for a few beers more than the game though. plus i got a season ticket for me and my 2 kids its great dad time they enjoy my local then on to the game, thankfully they won't remember on the shit surrounding the actual football, athough they both hate the red

Well I think the ones who continue to go, bury their heads in the sand, convince themselves we aren't a laughing stock and hope everything will be ok are the one's we don't need but there we go.
