Another yes man in my eyes and a very strange appointment in my opinion.

I really hope im wrong but I think tan will do what he wants anyway.
We lack a philosophy consistency and structure and any one of those managers would bring those things to the club. Slade is another gamble in my eyes a gamble which must work otherwise we could be in free fall with huge debts.

I would play it safe and employ a tried and tested manager for the good of the future of ccfc.

I believe tan cant work with big mangers as they are not yes men which we all no tan loves.

A huge step up for slade with massive expectation he will have to hit the floor at a sprint to win the fans over.

Don't get it all tan is no football man and it shows but he want take advice ether but he choosing are management team.

Im concerned big time good luck to slade I mean that but it odd.

you say he wont take advice do you think he chose slade off his own back??

Must have what football man would be advising him what dalaman another who is clueless.
Lets all be honest here comon its very odd

you obviously dont read this forum as its been stated he talks to several football men! glen roader is believed to be involved in this particular advice

im not being funny - but this is what we heard last Jan when OGS was coming in

Good record with... Molde
Good man management... Again with molde
Attractive football... With molde

So now we have a guy with the same sort of write up... But from Leighton orient

Only difference I can see is that OGS was a household name and rated as a world class footballer by many
On the other hand 99% of football fans have never heard of this Slade bloke (including me), he's an older manager at 54 and he's never played football at a professional level

Get behind the guy by all means but it's gonna be another f*cking train wreck and, let's be honest - the only reason this guy is in contention is because all the decent managers regard our club setup as toxic

Vincent Tan - Thankyou for another humiliating f**k up waiting to happen

Not a Manager myself or many other fans would have chosen but if he is appointed then we HAVE to get behind him and give him a chance. Personally I can't see us going up this season and envisage at best Play Off Final heartache again :o but lets do what we are supposed to do and support the team and the Manager whoever that may be and let's see where we are come the January transfer window :old: :bluescarf:

VT is no doubt using Slade as a way to lower the wage expectations of the other managers.

Chris Hughton got Newcastle promoted, he might be an option.
He is softly spoken and would probably cope with VT after having worked for Ashley.

The question is -

Who is advising him to listen to Roeder? And why?

Problem is our supporters become so greedy and written him off on social media and he hasn't even got a job, crystal balls etc. Some of our fan base have turned into major wan*ers past few years.

''patience and time'' are not attributes of Mr Tan. Can seriously see Dave Jones coming back full term, either that or another yes man for Tan.!

Aye it is.

On a side note, I see a few people hinting Slade may be favoured by Tan because he's a yes man. I think the manner in which he left Yeovil shows he isn't a yes man, and there's been examples during his time with us that he is anything but.

Would also be interesting to see how he deals with Ravel Morrison (if he signs and Slade goes) given his apparent dislike of anything disruptive.

Reminds me of a young Barry Fry type if Manager, not keen at all but will back if he gets it!
