Not at all - Could be plenty of other reasons , family , enjoyment of existing job etc .
How can you say job is unattractive esp at £3m plus a season !
because its already killed the careers of two young managers
lmao!
cardiff city didn't kill malkys career, malkys unprofessional conduct did
although he isn't banned from putting himself forward for other managerial jobs so it could be worse.....
The position has become poisonous under Tan whether you like it or not

They can't fight to keep him though mate.
They literally have no money at all.
They regularly do charity events in the City of Dundee to raise money to keep the club going.
You can actually buy signed shirts and merchandise in their clubshop to order because they are so broke.

Was browing the forum to gauge what you guys were saying about Hartley and felt the need to respond to this.
Not sure where you get your information on Dundee from, but what you have posted just simply is not true.
We had fundraisers and things when we were in adminstration a few years ago - but your comment about charity events and selling signed shirts is just nonsense. We have no debt, are averaging our highest crowds in over a decade and are in the process of developing our own youth academy by our investors. We are not in a position where we need to sell our manager or players so your comments about us being "so broke" are ridiculous.
A very ill-informed and ignorant post.
Anyway good luck for the season, have been down to see you guys a couple of times because Kevin Mcnaughton is a family friend and have always enjoyed my trips to your city.
