I heard the same :thumbright: :thumbright:

Out of interest who would you like to see the club appoint Annis?

Tony Pulis has since Malky left been my number 1, I also like Chris Hughton,Ian Holloway and believe it or not Neil Warnock.
But Pulis def my first choice :thumbright:

You dont just need a big name in this division, you need a manager who is up for a battle and enjoys going to places like say the Rotherham's of this world and knows what to expect.

And you?

For those of you who like symmetry/coincedences/that sort of thing, Tony Pulis: last club as a player: Bournemouth, first club he managed: Bournemouth. Who have Cardiff City got at home in the next round of the Capital One Cup next Tuesday? Bournemouth!! Be awesome for him if that is the first home game he is in charge at Cardiff :)

Can't see any obvious reason why he wouldn't want the job if the money is right. To be fair to Tan, he seems to make money available to his managers, and as long as Tan is here, you would imagine that money is not a problem as long as it's for a player who would add value to the squad. Heard all the rumours about him interfering too much with team selection etc. but haven't actually heard anyone on the staff confirming that, so wonder how much is truth and how much is rumour. If he had not interfered with the colours, he would probably me one of our more popular owners, and still could be if he does the right thing.

pulis as got brilliant cv but mainly keeping up troubled teams or stabalising them (stoke) after all he as only been promoted twice in career?? but then again thats all was required as kept those teams in the div they were promoted to! so he will be perfect fit for city as we do have a talented squad but they need direction that pulis can give, my only concern is at present the squad is unbalanced and it will take a couple of loan players to put it right, so until then wont expect great things! thats if pulis is next manager??:old:

Totally agree, pulls has to be no.1 choice, I quite like the idea of hughton too.. Also Steve Clarke.

If we got Pulis then we'd have the best manager in the Premier League last season and extremely good squad at this level.

Also, is anyone else annoyed at how the media/other fans are portraying Cardiff today?

"Shouldn't have taken the job", "Tan...evil etc"

Too many people are commentating without any knowledge of Cardiff, OGS or our season so far. Does my head in :sleepy2:

I think Pulis is one of the very few managers that could do the job here and is available. Otherwise we have to poach another team's manager. If Tan offers him the right package, for example a basic salary plus a bonus to get promotion, I think he would come here. Ole has tried but his tactics just don't work....we need fresh ideas. I think Pulis is right for the job.

OGS is a nice bloke, everyone likes , except when it is your club he is messing up. Then their attitudes would change.

Pulis has fallen out with players in the past its business to him. If he thinks he can do a job he will do that. All based around what players can make the strongest team unit. Not individual class. So we shall see I think KJ would be better used as an impact sub with his high energy and build for half hour, and more classy strikers like Guerra leading the line.

I agree " Aberblue" trouble is Tan has messed up our club big time well before Ole.

And the right package should also include that he will return us to blue.

Home advantage ( & away) it has to be BLUE!!!

I don't think Ole would be staying if there was going to be a public announcement in the Morning. Expect him to resign.

I believe Olly is a very shrewd operator in the transfer market and from what I have read in previous threads people agree we have a very strong squad that is more than capable of gaining promotion. This issue is defiantly he is just too much a nice guy and wants to please everyone. I certainly get no pleasure in him about to lose his job and felt a Roy Keane character would of fitted perfectly. It's important we make the right choice and somebody who can develop the players within the squad and Development team.

Pullis would be a super appointment, but he would have to make a remarkable U-turn as regards to having control of matters and as we all know it's not him who would be wearing the trousers at CCFC.

Would he be a yes man to Tan? I think not.
