very good point annis, i get what your saying.

but tbh i'd rather the 'boo boys' didnt return. that type of thing is toxic to a football club and can't have any kind of positive effect on the players

I understand your point as well regarding them :thumbright:

But I dislike these ones the most
" Some just walk out and dont come back for a long time, till they are winning again "

But don't they say they can't afford at that time :D and then when we are winning there is spare cash

I would agree that 12 games will give us a good indication of what kind of season we are going to have so from that perspective I can understand where the OP is coming from. But this season like 2 years ago we have spent £10m+ on players so it's not unreasonable for expectation levels to be high.

The problem is not just that we have a hangover, from a fans perspective, from last season but it's the level of performance at the start of this season. Bringing high numbers of new players into the squad this summer is no different to the situation 2 years ago but at this stage then we were 5th in the League.

Of greater concern is our performance against the main match statistics which show that overall possession this season is 48.3% which is the lowest, at this stage, in any season since we returned to the Championship. The average attempts at goal (10) is also the joint lowest since we returned to the Championship and opponents average attempts at goal (17) is the highest of any season since our return to the Championship.

Despite spending £12m this summer we are left with a team struggling to keep possession, struggling to get attempts on our oppnents goal and really struggling to stop our opponents having attempts at ours.

I respect your view on giving OGS 12 games, I really do, but I'm worried about our performances to date especially after spending so much money. It's really not very good.

what an excellent post. Backed up with stats too :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: your like the forum's Gary Neville

Is very worrying as I thought we were to be more about possession based football under Ole, in truth it's hard to work out what our style is as the tactics never stay the same for long

I am not happy with the way Ole uses his squad. Central midfielders does NOT belong out on the wing and the last game proved that Declan is not a LB. I believe that rotation is no problem and i can live fine with him tinkering everygame, BUT tinkering means changing a striker for a striker, wing for a wing.

Im tired of seeing Dæhli on the wing, he is a CM. Im tired of seeing players like Macheda, LeFondre out on the wing and Gunnar as AM. Use players where they have their strengths and we should barely notice the tinkering.

BUT tbh i dont blame Ole for the loss against Norwich. We had full control and started off second half with a huge chance to go up to 3-0. If his tactics worked so well in the first half why should it fail in the second?

Most of you blame only OLE but he did not TINKER, he did not change a winning formula for the second half. If he did i would understand it but the way i see it is our players got cocky. They started relaxing and especially the 2-2 goal where i think it was Ralls who thought he had all the time in the world to walk around the centre of the pitch, lost the ball, counter and goal.

These guys are supposed to be professional players, they know how to do their job so is it fair to blame Ole when they fail to deliver? If they could do it in the first half they should been able to do it the next 45 too.

But i agree, 12 games. No improvement and he can do what will help our club the most and resign.

Those of you who say 30 games: Dont forget that he has played only 8 games so far with his OWN squad and so far with the cup he has 4 W, 2D, 2L so it aint that bad considering who we have met.
