Ole formation and tactics are very poor you could see the last 5/10 mins 1st half Norwich were really having a go and second half continued once again we get over run in midfield subs were poor I would have taken macheda off and put an extra man in midfield and another thing that is really annoying is when we defend a corner every single player is in the box so when we defend and clear the ball there's no outlet just comes straight back at us constantly inviting more pressure ... soon as Norwich scored 1 j us knew we were gonna lose 6 games in we haven't played well at all

Still can't get my head around this "best squad in the league" business. It's mostly people on this forum who say it, but I think you'll find plenty of fans of other teams who wouldn't agree with that statement. Like I've said previously, biggest squad maybe, but in my opinion not even the best squad that this club has ever had. Tough league to get out of (unless its downwards), and I think there are better sides than us in this league. I still think our squad may be good enough to make the play offs, because it will be large enough to cope with injuries and suspensions later on in the season.

You mean just like the lack of respect you gave Mackay when he was manager? Or Bellamy when he was a player?

You can't slate whoever you don't like and then get upset when others slate people you do like.

I have the upmost respect for OGS but I'm not prepared to sit back accept or tolerate the results we have seen since he has been manager.

In the last 10 years we have only conceded 4 goals or more in home League matches on 4 occasions and 3 of those have been with OGS as manager.

As a record it's difficult to accept, tolerate or even respect the manager, whoever he is, who delivers results like that.

9 months into a job and there's been very little sign of what was talked about at the initial presentation.

Ole knows he is accountable for his actions.

I find it appalling when managers are judged after so few games. However, this time I am passing judgement.

Stop saying Ole has only had 6 games, he has had 29 games.

I understand that you need time to get a squad working your way, but we are not seeing any signs of improvement or the flowing football he was supposedly going to produce.

At this early stage in the season all I am seeing is very disjointed play and a group of players that haven't been introduced to each other properly.

Even at this early stage there are no indicators to suggest we are moving in the right direction.

Something is wrong and be my guest if you want to leave it too late to do something about it.

Write any job description for a football manager and a core responsibility will be organisation, organisation of the team, formation and tactics and sadly OGS has and continues to underperform in this area.

I have never blamed OGS for the relegation last season but I do believe his constant swapping and changing of the team and tactics resulted in us finishing bottom of the table. He appears to have learned little as in terms of organisation we appear no further forward, the current top 6 teams in the Championship have settled on thier starting team and tactical formations and that organisation has been a major reason why they occupy the positions they do.

I believe a manager like Pulis, with this squad, would have our starting 11 and main tactical formation sorted in 2-3 games and every player would know exactly what's expected of them. I believe OGS even if it's only 6 games in has any idea what his best team or tactical formation is.

OGS is a charming and very likeable man but this is football and right now forget Pulis I would rather have that miserable bugger Dave Jones in charge because like him or not give DJ £12M and where do you think he would have the team after 6 games.

Possession
Cardiff 49%
Norwich 51%

Shots
Cardiff 11
Norwich 26

Shots on target
Cardiff 5
Norwich 6

Corners
Cardiff 2
Norwich 6

Fouls
Cardiff 4
Norwich 11

No matter how you sugar coat it, the stats don't lie.
They are bloody shameful, especially as we were at HOME.

The spine of the team is weak. Marshall has been indifferent, Connolly turns like the QE2 and Whittingham still sprays it 40 yards each time and avoids tackling at all costs. Macheda looked buggered after 30 minutes to be replaced by Maynard. I can only hope for my sanity that Guerra was injured?? He's been superb in a far better league and yet can't get a game.
We struggle to keep the ball on the deck, look frightened as feck on the ball and have only 1 game plan. Hoof it towards Jones.
Actually feel sorry for Jones as he's done well with the pile of shit served to him each week.

I pray to the footballing Gods that Manga and Morrison start with Fabio and Brayford.
Adeyemi protecting. Noone, Daehli, Bergstaller and Guerra feeding off Jones up front. But jones needs support. Can't leave him on his tod.
Captain or not, Marshall needs a kick up the arse. Start Moore on Tuesday. Don't agree with keepers bring captains. Manga or Morrison.

Fitness doubts and injuries have not helped ole with his team selections
and inconsistency of our players has contributed to our poor performances

Lets just look at one player peter Whittingham

I would tell the team to get in as many crosses from the byline as possible
my team talk would emphasize doing everything quickly wingers to stay wide defend from the front keep a high line and when defending press the ball not back off and relax as we are so much better than the opposition we don't need to worry about them as they are shitting themselves not knowing how to cope with our play now go out there and put the Norwich result / performance right because we are Cardiff city and we will allways be blue :bluescarf: :ole:

You say Ole has assembled the best (most expensively assembled Championship) squad in history, then totally contradict yourself by saying fitness doubts and injuries haven't helped.

You then incredibly state how most posters on this forum have practically picked the same team as Ole before every game this season when Ole has made a good 4-5 changes per game, including playing several players out of position.

You say Ole knows our squad, yet with the number of changes he makes per game, he clearly doesn't know his squad. Unless you're telling us Ole is correct playing Le Fondre in midfield at Blackburn, Kadeem Harris right back at Coventry, switching Gunnarsson to the right wing last Saturday and playing Macheda on the left wing most of the game?

You then make another incredible accusation about fans criticising Ole to get at Tan, when we all want Ole to do well as he's a nice guy. Unfortunately, Ole's nice personality has rubbed off on the team as we are now too nice on the pitch. Ole has turned us into a soft touch and we are a disorganised mess.

You then complain about people not responding to your post. Maybe if you didn't do a silly post with silly points with silly accusations criticising fans, people will take you more seriously and reply to you?

The only fact on this thread is our fans are fickle

Will ole turn things around? No facts just opinions

He will get the full season here unless results go completely ridiculous that's just my opinion but tan isn't likely to get rid of his man in a hurry unless we are literally rock bottom in November

As long as we are around 9/10th place and in and around playoffs ole won't be sacked

Personally I think we will only get stronger as the season goes on

Again that's just my opinion

There's not much else to talk about as it's all conjecture and opinion it's not fact is it

Only fact here is the first line of this post

"Our best squad ever"

Mmmm.

Having the best squad ever doesn't mean you have a decent team and I don't think the fans calling for Ole to go are particularly angry about the 2 losses... it's the manner in which the team has played (even when we've won), it's the lack of pace and creativity, it's the constant shipping players into the team and then out (for no apparent reason) and probably an overwhelming feeling that Ole doesn't know what he's doing.

We should have seen by now at least some style or play or consistency that gives us hope that things will improve. We could all live with the losses if we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. I do though feel most fans, even the ones who are usually more patient and loyal to the manager, can see little reason for hope.
