Saturday v Norwich - "Vincent Tans Blue & White Army" :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Re: The talk in the club has increased

Maybe next season will be transitional with half red, half blue. If so it may be a statement from Tan that he wishes to bury the hatchet with the fans but he's looking for a way out.

Although this could potentially turn out In our favour, we mustn't be lulled Into a false sense of security... Keep the 1927 protest going until the change has been made :bluescarf: Keep the message going until it gets through!

well this would represent a dramatic U turn from the club. in the summer they were building a new red stand! very much the case of "i'll believe it when i see it"

If these rumours are true, what about the badge? will there be some sort of compromise that Tan keeps his badge on the shirt and just re-rebrand the club back to blue? want this badge back http://stateofthegame.co.uk/wp-content/ ... diff11.jpg :bluescarf:

Hear f*cking hear carl but what will happen to debt to equity then hmm as that's why we went red to start with as that was the main factor in the deal imo :?

Ian, you raise a valid point mate.

The debt to equity must be realised and Vincent Tan must deliver on his pledge to change his loans to shares, it is paramount for the long term stability and financial sake of our club.

A return to blue would at least get the fans onside and get unity on and off the pitch.

Agreed it would unite the fans for sure but 95% of fans went along with it in return for a debt free club ( debt to equity ) now this involved RED which was suppose to be lucky as tans words was A DEBT FREE CLUB AND A COLOUR FOR 100MILLION now if he turns us back blue then what as we will have 120million more debt for nothing bar a season in the prem only more loans or sell us on, it baffles me :?

How about Tan retains the red and converts the debt to equity - would you be happy with that ?

It would make most people happy, but with the MASSIVE investment that Tan has brought into the club, hearing about fans giving him a 2nd chance makes me laugh.

Some City fans are so far up their own, that they choose to forget that Tan has saved our club so many times and yet, somehow 'we may forgive him'. How lucky Tan must feel !! Patronising and condescending

50/50? More like 70/30 in the examples you have shown.

In any case, we have been in red at home for some years now, so why should we accept anything less than all BLUE at home? I don't care what we play away, but the Bluebirds badge needs to be worn, not the one with the dragon standing over the small token as we have now.

The fact that you mention Crystal Palave is exactly why we shouldn't go for a combo kit. It has even less to do with our club as an overall look. Might as well put white sleeves on the red kit and say we aren't Arsenal!!

Yore probably right it is more red than blue, but everything seems to be going blue and red rather than full on red now. I'm not saying I think we should go for the palace look, just I think that's the way the club is hinting at going. Vinny likes yellow too so palace would have been a perfect buy for him!

Re: The talk in the club has increased

The rumours seem to have started again after Mark Hudson mentioned it in his parting shot last week. Remember that Tan said at the end of last season that he would only 'consider' a return to blue should we get promoted back to the top table. There's no guarantees whatsoever, even if we do get promoted straight back. I think that all the dual branding is showing is that blue will remain our first choice alternative kit whilst he is still here, rather than a yellow second kit and a blue third kit. Unfortunately I cant see us playing in anything other than red whilst he is still around.

Saying that though, I still dream of seeing him taking his seat at the stadium wearing a blue scarf.

Yes I was t having a go at you. It's just the thought of a two-tone mix that upsets me. I don't mind white and yellow. They have been part of the club for years, but red and blue together just make purple as far as I'm concerned. :bluescarf:

Who is the pic of in the club shop?

Id love it to be true but I find it hard to believe, especially with all those red seats put in.

A blue and red palace type kit is as alien to cardiff city as the red and black kit. The only thing that I want is the royal blue kit back with the bluebird as the prominent emblem

Not 100% sure, but I think it is Federico Macheda and Declan John.

All this "Vincent Tan's blue and white army" is tosh.
Keep singing it in your heads - you will not get the whole stadium to sing it at all and will probably get boo'd by the majority of the ground for it so best of luck

I for one will not respect a man who threw away my club's identity UNTIL the identity of the club I support reverts back to blue. I will continue to support the boys home and away but I will not show an ounce of respect to Vincent Tan until I see the City players running out at CCST in a blue kit with a prominent bluebird on their shirts

Perhaps you should put your hands in your deep pockets and buy him out, fella?!?!

You'd be able to return the BLUE and trust me, you'd have the 'respect' of the City faithful (actually, probably not, as there's always someone who wants to pontificate the opposing view) and have them all, including me, eating out of your hands whilst singing your name from the newly appointed BLUE seats right around the stadium!

Go on, do it! You KNOW it makes sense! ;) :ayatollah: :notworthy:

Let's all of us use our intellegence and force him into a return.....

Sing his name from every corner of the ground on Saturday.

Make sure its positive and not the usual but now seriously dwindling Wanker Song.

Wouldn't boo anyone for singing it, people have the right to sing whatever they wish. But you won't catch me singing the man's name.

Why should have to buy him out, just because he disagrees with it all?

Re: The talk in the club has increased

I'd accept keeping the crappy beer mat badge for a return to blue, as long as it's got a bluebird on it however small, after all how many different types of badge have we had in the last 40 years? I can think of at least five different ones.

"Vincent Tans blue and white army" my f**king arse. Some people are so fickle.
It wouldn't surprise me with Tans record if all these "back to blue" rumours are a load of bollocks just to get fans back on his side and to stop protesting and it looks like it's working with some.

TAN OUT!
