No chance unless it coincides with promotion.

We over-estimate how many stay away because of the rebrand. Most are now staying away because of the lack of Premier League status.

Tan I am sure wants some respect after all hes put so much money into ccfc and he deserves it.

The problem for me as ccfc stands in red at home I feel Tan has disrespected me and many thousands of fans by playing in this colour its really does hurt us all deeply.

I have hated tan for the rebrand but you no what if we do get the blue home kit back myself and many thousands of fans would respect tan and we can then come together as one in supporting ccfc and Vt .
If ccfc do read this board its what everyone wants the stadium will have more fans in it and we can positively move forward as a club together fans and vt . I have strongly objected to tans rebrand but id support tan but only if we get the colour blue back.over to tan now to do the right thing and re unite the club with its many fans . :bluescarf:

In a way, that's true.

But the first home game back in blue will be a landmark occasion, a massive day for all Cardiff fans and even those who show a little interest in Cardiff City. Just look at Coventry last night.

No reason why we can't get 30,000 IF it happened :thumbright:

We would get the true cardiff fans back who cares about the one season premier league wonders an awful lot of die hard fans who have walked away would come back definitely

VT would be instantly embraced by the fans if he was willing to return to blue!

It seems such an obvious, simple gesture and will unite the fans, while his respect will soar. I know some will still not forgive him just like that, but it would be a major turning point. All he has to do is promise he will change the colour for next year, whatever the outcome of this campaign (incidentally, it will be enough to galvanise the club and promotion could be smashed).

Over to you Mr. Tan. We await your announcement............

my only worry is, everyone is hoping we go back to blue but they don't mention changing the badge at the same time, and will Vincent's compromise be blue shirts but with the current badge, I wont be happy until both are changed back, will you be happy with blue shirts with current badge

There has been rumours doing the rounds around the Club.

Tan has kept his distance from the club for the last couple of months.

I really would like to know whats going on in his head? :bluescarf:

Annis, it has always been my opinion that continued attacks on Tan would have the opposite effect to what was wanted by ALL the club's paying supporters

If true, this apparent 'softening' of approach from Tan might just be the result of a similar 'softening' from paying supporters, since the revelations about Malky, the great squad assembled in the summer, and the realisation that (blue apart until now) the guy might just have the "best interests" of Cardiff City FC at heart, even if his ambitions simply tie in with his own personal agenda

I guess we will have to wait and see, but there HAS already been talk of some compromise on colour for next season and us fans need to be patient, if we are to encourage Tan to "go the whole Hog"

Keep up the 19:27 show of defiance and cut out the personal abuse and we just might be at the start of something good on the colour front! :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :notworthy:

Chris, in the Summer, I spoke at length to a a Senior City Director close to Tan and he told me to do the nice/softly approach, thats why I have virtually laid of Tan and am willing to give him respect, if he gives us it. :thumbright:

And yes this Forum is read by all his staff and passed on to him anything worth while :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Good to hear (on all fronts) Annis

Maybe (just maybe) we are seeing the start of something positive :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :notworthy:

who cares about vincent tans ego. shove it up his arse for all i care, no one person is bigger than the club.

with each passing year without the blue he loses more and more credibility from the fans, never mind this 'losing face' in his own country. where was this boom in the clubs marketability that was sold to us?

its a failed rebrand, the fans aren't buying the merchandise in the volume that would be expected if it were blue, plus he's lost credibility in the market that matters, i.e. the UK fans!

to any rational businessman it would be a straightforward decision to reverse the rebrand and sell more merchandise as a result?

if he doesn't, the next man in will.
