I've made a couple of observations while reading various posts on here. A lot of the people who were very pro Malky, even after it became obvious that he had been fairly sacked, are the ones who are now very prominent in saying we have the strongest squad in living memory. It almost seems that some would be quietly happy if we fail this season, and is it possible that they are setting Ole up for a big fall, because they still haven't forgiven Tan for sacking MM.
Personally, I don't think this is the "strongest" squad ever, maybe just the biggest. Have we got a better standard of player now than we did when we began our Premier League campaign. I'm not sure that we have, but that was Malky's team and struggled towards the bottom of the league all season.
It will be very difficult to finish in the top two, we are not the only Championship team with a strong squad. If we fail, there are plenty who will say that they were right about Ole, because he was the man in charge of the strongest squad we've ever had.

I think you have a point there, it is a strong squad and most of us are delighted with it, but there are some other very good teams in this league, it's going to be tough, and I agree Ole is being set up for a fall......

I think we are missing the point Hudson is 32 and wanted first team footy ole has bought 2 new centre backs which as far as I can remember people were in agreement. Mark wanted the move no one forced him out he could had stay fought for his place

and by some strange coincidence Ole's biggest critics are also Tan's worst haters.

So why the change of heart so quickly. Give Ole all the plaudits even if they are not deserved then it is easier to knock the club down when things go wrong.

genuinley thought chuckles had turned in to a half decent poster when he was made a mod, must have just been tempory bacause its the same, derailing with slight details because he knows exactly what the OP means.

incidently he's not saying not to critisise, he's saying that critises for the right reasons, and in his (and my) observations it seems to be most people critisising OGS are anti tan and pro malky (or have been). Now whilst it is impossible to draw a conclusion from that fact, it is certainly a correlation worth considering, especially seeing as many 9not all) seem to have made up there minds before a ball was kicked this year.

why do you take everything so literally then, even when people clarify what they mean you rigidly stick to the first thing they said. you know exactly what he meant. he drew a corrilation between those who constantly critise ogs and those who constantly defend malky/hate tan. even a child could see what he was trying to say.
