Nicky Maynard

Am I the only person that likes Maynard? His movement and vision is brilliant, the injury has hindered him, but he has not had N opportunity to play games since. Every time he plays he gets better and looks more and more like himself when he was at the Wurzels.

No you are not. I rate Maynard. People on here too quick to judge. I like ALF too but what has he done? At least NM has a league goal to his name from very little game time. Kenwyne can't last a whole game, Macheda has been injured, Ole is using two strikers in every game and two on the bench and withy a busy schedule I think we will need all our players.

He worked his nut off in Pre Season and deserves to be in and around the team, don't think he's been played in the right area or position since Wigan, Blackburn was put on the wing to accommodate Jones, Huddersfield I don't think he started and Wolves he was played alongside Le Fondre which never worked as they are both the same mould.

He needs goals and he got off the mark v Wigan, would have had more chances if used wisely v Wolves.
