All this feel betrayed about Malky shite

Like I said its a total overreaction. The FA will obviously have to condemn any evidence however remote in relation to comments perceived as having the smallest of racial slurs. What posters on here are doing is to brand Malky a complete racist which is clearly not the case. His words are not well chosen and derogatory in nature but nothing else and yes he should know better especially given his position. Many of us have called Chinese chinkys or referred to other nationalities in a similar way but this clearly does not make us racists and anyone who believes this is bonkers.

if a man on the street (say a shop manager) called his staff chinks in private messages and got caught, he would be reprimanded.

whether that in itself makes you a racist is not the issue. the issue is that its unacceptable, and mackay himself knows it. he called for zero tolerance in one of his 'holier than thou' interviews, so its impossible for me to have any sympathy with him whatsoever.

no it doesn't, not in every case anyway, but in my experience it does unviel a side of someone that wouldn't be otherwise apparent in many cases. and if the volume and frequency of the texts truely is as reported then its pretty undeniable that malky is a racist.

I'm sure the investigation will unveil the extent of wrongdoing so we will have to reserve judgement till then.

again, this is not about whether mackay is racist or not, i've already given my views on that.

however,what i think we can agree on is that its completely unacceptable to use derogatory terms like that when you are in the public eye. therefore he should be punished. the comment was made using club property, during working for CCFC, therefore the FA should be interested.

i'm not calling for the electric chair, just a proportionate punishment.
