I´m not sure Daehli´s somehow mediocre start of the season is due to him being lightweight. From what I´ve seen, I´ve got a little feeling that the ball is not quite as glued to his feet as it used to be last season. It´s like he needs just a quarter of second more time to control the ball, and hence he got less time to orientate himself. That said, there have been some great stuff from his as well, but the expectations are of course higher. Back in this best form, I don´t think his physics will be an issue.

Personally I don't think Kimbo struggled in this league but was exposed in the Premiership as being far too lightweight but all said and done we need to prune the playing staff and reduce our annual wage bill, we have enough players to fill in the void left by Kim.
I am also confident Ole has a player lined up to come in and take Hudson place within the City squad once this certain player agrees to come on board. :bluescarf:

Yes I've heard Hudson has been told he is.

I have no problem with Hudson leaving, he's been fantastic but he needs to be playing at his age and Morrison looks like a better long-term bet. However, I would be surprised if they let Hudson go without a replacement whilst Turner is injured.

If he goes at the moment we will only have Connolly, Morrison and Cala as centre backs and I can't see OGS letting that happen.

Maybe Ole has got someone lined up to come in? A loan signing maybe? I know Michael Keane has been ruled out, but maybe someone else?

Yes, sounds like something very recent has coming up. Two days ago Ole was more or less declined any more players coming in, but today he´s message was a bit more cryptical. If there is something in the rumors about Hudson leaving (with Turner out for the next 3 months), I would guess a new CB is luring somewhere on the wing. A catastrophic start of the season will make Gaal go crazy in the late days of the transfer window? Ole said it would have to be some spectacular. Keane sort of fits that description...

Cardiff City star Kim Bo-Kyung set to turn down move to Celtic FC

Cardiff City star Kim Bo-Kyung is set to turn down an approach from Scottish giants Celtic.

The Bhoys contacted the Bluebirds about a potential move for the South Korean midfielder, but it is understood he is not interested in the switch.

Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy to keep Kim in his squad, despite the 24-year-old finding himself someway down the midfield pecking order at Cardiff City Stadium.

Solskjaer has signed midfielders Anthony Pilkington, Tom Adeyemi, Kagisho Dikgacoi and Guido Burgstaller this summer, while the likes of Peter Whittingham, Aron Gunnarsson, Craig Noone and Mats Daehli all seem set to play important roles this year.

Kim has shown much promise since joining from Cerezo Osaka two years ago but has struggled to find a consistent level of performance.

It remains to be seen if he will stay at the club long-term, with the summer transfer window due to shut on September 1.

The South Korean international has made 60 appearances for Cardiff during the past two seasons, scoring three goals, but he is yet to feature in the Bluebirds' Championship fixtures this season.

Anyone remember his goal against Manure? Smallest man on the pitch smashing a header in to salvage the draw...What a moment to witness!!

He's got the potential in him, and was great for us in the championship last time around. Would love to see him banging out great performances again... I've always had a lot of time for Kim-Bo

Well, I don´t think Ole had someone like Ronaldo in mind when he used the word "spectacular". A player from Man Utd´s bench and a England U21 international would be quite spectacular in my opinion, while supporting a team in the Championship.

So why make him Captain?

Big thumbs up from me, thats the reaction I was after from him. He'd be a legend for Celtic but thats just cos the football is so dire up there. He has the promise and its just how its is able to build on that...he's still young and YES id keep him as a rotation player...I don't want him being another player who eventually comes good....at another club.

Saw Mutch on SSN HQ yesterday - interviewer gave him opportunity to talk about Cardiff, perhaps say something nice about the fans etc, but he said nothing just him and QPR.

Didn't strike me as the brightest mind - every question was answered by "yes..." :-(
