How many times have you seen O' Sullivan play? What do you think are his main strengths? What makes him stand out when compared to his peers in the DVP team at Cardiff? What aspects of his play and his character suggest he will mature into a player capable of continuing his development to the standard of an international footballer for Wales?

I am genuinely interested, because the lad has only played a couple of times for the first team to date.

it is quite clearly a thread to discuss any potential internationals, and quite clearly will not involve any current ones. I have no idea why this potentially good thread has become full of people changing it for no apparent reason, its just pain weird.

He plays for the development side. He is composed, always wants the ball and a great eye for a pass. He looks very good for his age.

I know he plays for the DVP, I explicitly stated he did so in my post. I just wondered what he had in your opinion that made him stand out as a future international midfield player. The two youngest players in our first team squad are already international players.

O' Sullivan who I do rate, has had very few opportunities, he has to compete for a midfield position against the likes of Ramsey, Allen and Ledley who are all seasoned internationals. Players of a similar age, Huws, Isgrove, Jon Williams and George Williams are already playing for the first teams at Premier League and Championship levels.

He needs to a make more rapid strides in his development as a football league player if he is too compete.

I have already told you a few times now. You seem to have taken offence at my liking for him, i see no other reason for your continued pressing of a pretty non matter. He is a very composed central midfielder with a good range of passing. Him not being as good as Allen or Ramsey now is a bit of a moot point really as im talking future. You dont have to command a starting role to be an international.

To answer I think Tommy O'Sullivan has the potential to play for Wales. Also Wales are crying out for strikers so if Healey steps his game up and starts scoring and gets some loan experience he could put himself in the frame.
