No. But I'd certainly swap him with that idiot coleman as welsh manager

No. Why give ole the time and money to build his own squad and work on playing style only to replace him with a manager that plays totally different football. It would be a mess.

I can't see that Pulis has been much more than average for most of his managerial career. If Bournemouth fans were anything like Cardiff fans, they would have been calling for him to be sacked within a few months of his appointment. He may have a pleasant personality that fans identify with, but his brand of football is hardly going to excite many people, and will only have limited success.

Ole finally has a full pre season, makes his signings and it's now his team! Some of the signings he's made are cracking!
People just want Ole out as he's Tan's man!
Wouldn´t any manager Tan employed be Tan´s man?
Thu Aug 14, 2014 11:13 pm
Has to be Pulis and he would have kept the club up
Thu Aug 14, 2014 11:13 pm
The question is: what would the players who came her to play under Ole say on this? I think the squad would be rather demoralized if Ole was sacked now (of course, a highly hypothetical scenario). Pullis might be a more clever manager tactic wise, but replacing him with Ole at this stage would probable reduce our chances of promotion, not increasing it.

Without a doubt. We will never achieve anything under Ole. This season he has already played Le Fondre in midfield, Burgstaller up front, Eikrem on the wing and he even had Harris and Gunnarsson interchanging in the right back position at Coventry. How Ole can play so many squared pegs in round holes with the squad at his disposal is frightening.
Pulis has taken Stoke up and stabilised them as a Premiership club. He achieved a miracle at Crystal Palace last season. It's a complete no brainer for me.

And some of you morons call yourselves fans?

FYI Tonteg, Burgstaller is an attacking midfielder who can also play striker.

Exactly what the capital one cup us for,
Bullstaller who scored of course but enlighten me who would you have played upfront with Maynard?
Considering our fixtures and injuries I think Ole did very well to get a second team out v Coventry and going through.

Burgstaller is an attacking midfielder/winger, so why not change the system to allow players to play in their natural positions? Ole could have played the same team with everyone in their natural positions against Coventry. We started the game with Kim and Eikrem on the wings and Burgstaller up front. I've always felt Kim is more comfortable in the middle and Eikrem and Burgstaller weren't in their natural positions. What would have been wrong with playing 4-5-1 with Burgstaller, Kim and Ralls supporting Maynard with Gunnarsson and Eikrem holding? That would have been a much better balanced team with everyone in their natural positions. Some of Ole's decisions this season already have been bizarre to say the least.

Not a promotion specialist by any means.

That's because he hasn't been relegated
Fri Aug 15, 2014 10:06 am
He has been in management for 23 years now, and his main claim to fame is he has never been relegated, as well as being a specialist in pumping long balls up the pitch hoping for someone to get on the end of them. If he was an exceptional manager, you would have thought that a big club would have made a move for him after all these years in the business. I think his record is pretty average overall, and he's already been sacked a few times as well as being out of work for a year or two.

Yes, I like Ole as a person but can't forget some of the pathetic performances under him last season.

Best 11 eleven? Against whom? I´m sure he knows his best 11 starting eleven for tomorrows game.

Not convinced Pulis would win us promotion, his track record suggests otherwise with 2 promotions in 23 years.
Fri Aug 15, 2014 2:22 pm
Ole is our manager at the moment and gets my full support but if the job was up for grabs between Ole and Tony Pulis I'd have to go for Pulis.
Fri Aug 15, 2014 2:32 pm
No Ole needs a proper chance , he's had a full pre season now and his way of playing will be what the players having been training all summer.

Eikrem was in the centre you mong, hence why he was in such a position to set up Maynard for the first goal. You gonna blame Ole for the CB positioning of Connolly for Coventry's second is it?

I’m still hanging in here for the few-and-far-between quality posts and (for now) more activity and somewhat faster club updates. But the negativity is rapidly becoming sickening. If you look at the current squad, the new stadium, and the professional way in which the club is run, and still are not satisified - then in my opinion this forum will be nothing more than a few trolls feeding each other in a not to distant future.
Get behind the team and the manager. All the way. Into promotion. Because this is certainly not the way to get there.
Fri Aug 15, 2014 4:57 pm
Question is would pulis bring in type players ole has? Resounding no as he doesnt play that way? Be back to atritional slog like malky.

Can we keep ole to take us up then have Pulis to keep us up
it's not Tans sort of manager I think he would want a big attractive name i.e. Ole
