Maybe somil?m to fae can see the bigger picture AL in that short term pain in the sense of no promotion etc would increase the chances Tan leaving and then your club can move forward, return to blue and rebuild rather than just chasing the unsustainable short term success on the back of his buck?

Because the chances of him leaving if you didn't get promotion would be far greater (in my opinion of course).

It's all about opinions Al. Mine is that there is a massively higher chance of him leaving if you fail this season and, if it were my club, I would want that to be the case.

You're obviously happier going with the other option, as is your right of course.

But it wouldn't be about "wanting the team to fail" per se, but as I said about looking at the bigger picture and playing the long game (not the long ball game you're used to ).

If you go back to what Annis wrote, he made it clear it was not anti-Tan and that Vinnie may choose to go either way. The main difference is that we will have more financial stability if we go up and club can be sold on for more. There's no guarantee after that but my instinct says a new owner will return to blue ASAP to unite the fans and sell some merchandise. Only my opinion, but surely intending your club to fail is just plain wrong.
