No -although I have been on demonstrations and protests where they have been very prominent. In recent years I have usually got involved in different events and actions through my Trade Union.

They are the worst case of hypocrisy around. I would quite literally love to have a few grenades in my pocket to deal with them nobheads.

in the mid 80.s maccydee i was more leftist.i then realised i was spouting love and peace but saying i hate x,y,z.sort of defeats the object doesnt it? .thing is far too many never realise this .they also say they believe in womens rights,gay rights but support groups like hamas who aint known for winning diversity awards.whooshhhhhhhhhhhh.they should be made to live in a street full of hamas for a year.they would be begging for some israeli democracy then

israel is a great country simon.ok they have made mistakes regarding the palastinians at times but they have the right to defend themselves and disable hamas military.hamas give christian palastinians a hard time and shot fatah members and drove the main members from gaza.if they can do this to their own god help anyone else.in ww2 we evacuated our kids to the countryside.hamas put theirs in front of rocket launchers that have fired at isarel.they know whats going to happen.a sick bi yearly p/r stunt.they bit off more than they can chew this time.im all for a palastinian state but these loons should be no where near the top table.i hope israel wreck every hamas weapon and tunnel.then sit down and discuss a proper peace.there may be a need for cival war between palastinians first thought to rid the gaza of hamas.there should have been elections in gaza as paret of the unity govs plans.funny enough hamas havnt had them yet

i agree,,,,,,,the foundation here HAS to be palestinians recognising Israels right to exist...without that Israel are forced into maintaining an out of proportion spend on defence..........who wouldnt.??????....if anyone knows that their neighbours main goal is to wipe you off the map you have to make sure that can not happen..
you dont have to be well read or be in mensa to figure this out,its human nature....

and if your weaker than your enemy its not wise to pick on them..........said this a 100 times now..Hamas were fully aware what the likely response would be..and that includes TV coberage, and ill thought out protests here......

the average palastinian is a good person.their leaders let them down tenfold.they could have built a state on the land the u.n gave them in 48.they would have had a solid country by now.they have been used by people with wrong agendas.its amazing their arab bro,s keep them in refugee camps in neighbouring countries rather than let them mix into society.some of the arab states have done more harm to the palastinians than israel have.when i worked in israel 20 oddyr ago there was v little trouble between jew and arab even thought he intafada was on.in fact my kibbutz had arab labour who would regulary attend kibbutz weddings etc.there is more to hamas than palstinian nationalism.it,s radical islam at its worst

If you are interested (you are not) the last time - apart from Gaza - was to counter-demonstrate against the BNP march in Sheffield. They were heading from the Pheasant at Sheffield Lane Top to Fir Vale to stir up community tensions between the majority Pakistani Muslim, Black British and White British community there and the recently arrived Roma community.

What would you have done - applauded the BNP? Actually don't bother to answer. I'm not interested either.
