I meant west ham at home when there was bother in grangetown and some if our fans got ridiculous time and bans for it. I could be wrong my memory is shocking :old:

David, this comment is absolute bollocks. I went to most home games and many away games between 1982-86 and it did exist. There were many small groups that came together to create a bigger unit. There were literally "pub crews" that came together. The 1980s were brutal times. There was a constant fear of being slashed and arrested. Nothing like today.
