If those soldier's who fought and died against the Germans could see the state of this country now, they'd probably say what was the point.

The state of this country? If you think life here is bad maybe you should go to somewhere like Palestine. Some where you have to fear for yours and your families life's each day. Somewhere where death falls from the sky in the form of bombs.

It might hit home that we don't have it all that bad in the grand scheme of things. I can tell you now, if we were under the control of nazi Germany things would be much worse...

I have nothing but TOTAL RESPECT for all those who died in WW2. With regards to what life would have been like under a Nazi Germany, we will never know.

well i think its worth mentioning that if we hadn't interviened in WWII we probably would have been left well alone. Its well documented that Hitler had verying degrees of interest in britain, ranging from Indifference to Admiration and seeing us as a potential ally. The idea we would have been invaded is, at best a guess and at worse a falacy

however the rest of europe would have been affected greatly. which would have a knock on effect to us of course. no cold war probably, but plenty of other variables.

OR russia would have defeated them anyway.
