While pictures of war aren't nice as the saying goes 'you poke a tiger with a stick all the time then one day the tiger will turn around and attack' and that's what's happening with Israel. How many rockets landing in our neighbourhoods could we turn a blind eye on ? Not one especially when we know who's firing them.

Whilst I agree that it's unbalanced in the strength of the attacks you can't argument that Hamas hasn't started this.

Thankfully Iran won't get involved as they are broke from years of sanctions and because of that are starting talks again with the west so they won't want to damage that

But Annis they did in 2005. They forcibly removed Israelis from the settlements due to a peace that was worked out as part of the roadmap. It looked good for a while then Hamas saw it as a sign of weakness and started attacks again.

Israel does tend to drop leaflets telling people they are going to attack to give civilians a chance to move. Hamas definitely don't do that. There defensive systems fire back at the rockets as they fire into Israel. It is the fault of those that fire them from civilian areas if civilians are killed.

And Dresden was the train transport hub for Germany. Lots of reasons to do what we did. It reduced the length of the war a bit thus saving lives which I would have flattened the whole of Germany to achieve.
