In my eyes it look pathetic and I'm sure every other fucker that visits our stadium will think the same.

Truly embarrasing, even in blue the ayatollah input would just look embarrassing, whoever designed this must have been the same people/person who designed our badge. Primary school children by the looks of it.

Get a grip. It's not embarrassing. It's something to be proud of. Or would you prefer open air toilets on the bob bank again? Oh wait - you probably would. Dinosaur.

I've said my piece on what I think of the stand in another thread but I would like to make another point.

Tan says he will only compromise if we get back to the Premiership. Why is this? Why do we have to get back to the Premiership first before Tan says he will compromise? Could there be other reasons why Tan has built a red stand? Could Tan be planning on getting us back to the Premiership, so he can sell us to Red Bull? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... sport.html

Red Bull's colours are blue and red. Speculation of course, but just thought I would put it out there.

So a club with a tradition of being blue shouldn't be embarrassed, but should be proud of having a red stand and anyone who thinks otherwise is a dinosaur? Very well put together argument that one.

I say anyone who likes the red stand have been bought and sold their souls, while anyone opposing the red stand have kept their integrity, dignity and identity.

No mate you get a grip, if you're fine with us looking like a mickey mouse club then that's up to you but those ayatollahs and red seats spoil what should be a great looking stand, it's f*cking cringeworthy. Are you genuinely happy with it ? Do you think it could've been designed any better ?

By the way those open air toilets were part of a stadium that had real soul and character. Times move on and I'm all for progress but I'm not ashamed to say I miss Ninian Park.

They should be blue.

Anyone saying they look good or nice or whatever are just Tan apologists and sellouts. Sorry but its the truth.

Im all up for you having your own opinion as long as its a sensible one that values tradition and heritage over money and you prefer blue and our correct badge to a crap badge made by a 5 year old trying his new Crayola set out he got for Christmas out.

Looks absolutely grim - as grim as the sellouts will look when Tan leaves and they are feeling like outsiders.

Yes I may well be older than you, but I'm no dinosaur. I've accepted that as a club we have to move with the times or die. It really is as simple as that. It's dog eat dog in today's sporting world. There's no room for sentiment. It's survival of the fittest, it really is a case of being compared to evolution. Those who adapt to the environment, survive. Those who don't, become extinct. Do you REALLY think that fan's bluster is going to have an impact? Do you or anyone you know have a spare 15 million quid knocking about under the mattress, so that you can buy City and turn it blue again?

Tradition has it's place - It used to be a tradition that I would help my folks put up the christmas decorations when I was younger, but I am older now and my father died, so that tradition ended.

Dont care. All sell outs at this stage are as bad as if not worse than the Jacks. If the truth hurts then so be it. Sometimes that is just life. All of them love Tan now for his money and he's doing this and that like a bunch of spongers lapping up the Labour government for years - they're the type of people most likely that like to get cosy to people with money and pretend to be their friends only to ditch them when that friend comes on hard times. They will then go find another friend with money to support their lifestyle. They have no spine to stand up to things or what is right very much like many in this country just happy to push us into further income inequality and so forth.

You all need to get a life if there wasn't a rebrand with the colour of the shirts you all would have been how great it looked
Whatever the club does you will find fault with no matter what
If you don't like it don't go to the matches and stay at home
At the end of the day I want promotion back to the premier and will throw my all to supporting city to get that
The colour of the shirts will not change this season so wait until we are back in the premier league and then see what Vincent does
Please everyone support the team show the blue at 1927 and stop the insults to the club

Could'nt care less what colour seat I sit on, far more important things in life than the colour of a seat. The shirt is a completely different kettle of fish though. Blue at home, Red away would be just fine for me.

 Sorry couldn't resist :thumbright:

I 100% agree we've had to move with the times but what's wrong with moving on whilst maintaining our identity and respecting our heritage, two things that for me are a massive part of our club. Also I'm not knocking the build of the new stand either, I don't think the timing is right but in the long run I'm sure it will be a positive move but the design is pathetic, I genuinely think it looks embarrassing just my opinion of course.

Who knows but it's drawn a reaction so far and if fans want to keep fighting for our identity, then I think we've got every right to :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
