Didn't have to best season as he was getting on a bit but in terms of pure natural ability on the ball, I would say Trevor Sinclair. His touch and vision was superb at times.
I also think that Noone has the potential to be the best city player of all time if we can keep hold of him, cannot think of anyone as exciting as him to ever grace the squad since I've been watching (20 years old)

eddie newton, o neil, koumas (defo), kav, gabbidon all stood out in lower leagues, jason fowler also , if only the medical staff could of sorted him out.

Dave Bennett, Eddie newton both looked like they came from a different planet in natural ability

Koumas was by far the most talented footballer we have ever seen.
never had the same workrate or dedication as others.
he could of been part of the golden generation you look at owen gerrard lampard, and Scholes Beckham Giggs
koumas had the ability to be one of the top players this country has produced in this generation

Thinking about it, it has to be Marshall. GK's usually never get a mention but he really is the mutts nuts.

Completely agree, his goal vs Middlesborough just sums him up. Class.

Surprised nobody's said Graham Kavanagh. Gutted when he was flogged to Wigan!

Jason Koumas, 100%.
Could have been like a Welsh Messi with the way the ball stuck to his feet and he could just glide past players as if they weren't there, despite having no real pace.
Can only have been his attitute that cost him a great career. What a player.

Lets not forget earnies unbelievable goal record, but thats obviously at a lower level. I can't really mention anyone from below 1995.
Worst thing bothroyd done was leave us to join QPR, never realy happened for him since.
Gary o'neil was a class act when we had him on loan.
No the worst thing Bothroyd done was getting an England cap. He went downhill from that moment onwards.

Somebody who had great talent and scored some fantastic goals, given the level we were at, was Jason Fowler

Has to be earnshaw. So many goals from my childhood hero.

Koumas the first time we had him.

Koumas (1st time) and Jay Bothroyd.
Both could light up a game by dropping a shoulder and doing something that no other player could do.
Should also say 'cheers' for the posters that said 'Steve Gammon'
Incredibly proud.

In terms of talent it's got to be Jay Bothroyd (when he could be bothered)
In terms of sheer value to the team, it's Dave Marshall

For me it has to be Leo Fortune West...can't believe no-one else hasn't mentioned him.....
