i cant believe for a second we are/were paying cowie that much :o


if so im quite happy to see him go, with campbell and caulker going/gone that two biggies of the wages, as well as cornielius back in january, bellamy more recently and (hopefully) Jones to come.

It was around that figure, remember we had a 30m wage bill in the Championship, our 2011/2012 team had the same amount of wages of the 2010/2011 team, so our players were on big money. Luckily Ole is still trying to attract players but lowering the wage bill

Forget about Bellamy, again that's great in our eyes, we still have a big squad as well so once we rid of our players, our wage bill will be HEAVILY reduced

Don't foget thuogh lads, Guerra, LeFondre and Dikgagoi will all be on a fair whack.

You'd also hope they all had wage cuts in their contracts for getting relegated, (which they bloody well should have) but from what we've seen ref. release clauses, loyalty bonuses etc.. then it looks like their contracts were written by their agents and just signed by Moody/Lim. :(
