And just to re-iterate before anybody gets excited. Me saying its a good post doesn't mean i agree, just that he has put forward HIS reasoning well and is showing why someone may wish to accept the red.

There will be more and more examples like this the longer it goes on it is slowly becoming engrained in the club. People who have only been watching 2 or 3 years only know red. Another few years of red and a large % of your fanbase will have only known red, a return to blue would be another re-brand in itself as a result.

This is something you had to nip in the bud. You had chance upon chance upon chance to do it but nobody seemed bothered and instead held uo a blue scarf for 60 seconds when it looked certain you were to be relegated.

Im not sure how many fans actually do want blue back, if they do then they sure as hell cant be arsed to do anything about it.

In a way you are right Chief. But what isnt right he is making money out of the club though the re brand of which most fans find abhorrent. Now CCFC is a Club Borley claims to love but the old saying "sold your soul" is definitely applicable to good old Stevo.

Good original post gav,my little man is nearly 6 he doesn't remember us in blue even tho he had blue tops in the past,I still buy the blue gear but I got the red last yr coz he wants it,he's got the Cardiff city bug and is to young to understand the politics behind the rebrand,even when he's told he's to young to see the problem and when you got young kids your not gna let them turn up and feel alienated cos they like red shirts as well as blue shirts.I think you put your point across very well gav.I can understand ppl wanting blue back as I do but I try not to get into arguments with ppl cos they accept the red.and as roathie says it's becoming engrained into the club like it or not,if this stays for another five yrs say then kids like ours will know red and red only,I personally think a compromise kit half blue half red would at least give us some kind of history back which wouldn't be accepted by all but may be by alot. Surely as he's a businessman and not a Cardiff City fan, VT would be more upset at empty seats, than seats filled by paying fans, even if they wear blue and wave blue scarves?

Anybody who thinks that fans attending games wearing blue and waving blue scarves at 19.27, is hurting VT more than stay away fans and a reported 10,000 less season ticket sales, are just using this to justify their continued attendance at the games IMO!

I can confirm I am a non paid non executive director. I give my time up for free on anything I am tasked to do. My company is no longer a shareholder and I have only retained my personal shares. Any contract work I carry out is done at cost and if you want to do a search on HOS you will see it makes a small profit whilst still owing my company a considerable amount. So the suggestions of me making millions is well wide of the mark. My only reward is an emotional one and I consider that as priceless



Nukes I hardly speak to steve about the football these days and don't have a clue if he makes anything out of the club these days as he sold his shares to tan as he had agreed along with the likes of PMG.
One things for certain before Sam or tan came along he used to put money in every month to keep the club alive and never took a penny out in consultancy fees etc like other chairmen so he will always have my respect for that.
With regards to the demo's I don't see that holding a scarf aloft for twenty seconds once a game is going to have any effect on tan whatsoever but I respect what people are trying to achieve.
There's nothing wrong with being loyal to friends either nukes. I am the same with steve as annis was with Sam in that if I think something is wrong I will say it

I can fully understand your frustration and although I don't agree with everything your saying I do honestly believe the club will be surrounded in bad politics and unrest between fans untill tan leaves. Not to suggest that's best for the club itself immediately I just hope a buyer will come in the next few years to sort this mess out.
