Plus, "in exchange for Tan making me life president, I must kiss his backside and slate Malky on his behalf".

Cornelius aside, we will make profits from pretty much every signing Malky has made I think, apart from Velikonja, perhaps Maynard and other players 30 plus obviously like Helguson and Smith. When you consider how our club gained financially from Premiership football, the players Malky brought in on frees who we can sell, plus gems like Mutch and Noone, Malky did very, very well in the transfer market for us. Gary Medel has shown what a quality player he is in the World Cup and I think we will get our money back from him. We should also get our money back from Caulker. Cornelius aside, Malky hasn't done much wrong at all in the market.

Obviously, I will support Ole and hope the players he's brought in will improve us and give us the attacking edge we lacked at times under Malky.

Ah the infamous football pundit strikes again.

Apart from Cornelius oh and possibly Maynard and maybe a few others.

Kenny Miller too.

You talk shit.

We wouldn't have made the playoffs or Carling Cup final without Kenny Miller. As soon as the fans got the wish they were crying out for in having Joe Mason leading the line on his own instead, everyone could see how Mason struggled and what a tough job it is leading the line isolated on your own, dropping deep to link up the play, running the channels, doing all the off the ball donkey work running from one side of the pitch to the other. Campbell has just done that all season and people wonder why he hasn't scored many goals, or criticise him missing a couple of chances. Miller and Campbell run theirselves into the ground for us and everyone with a footballing brain could see how much the pair of them contributed to us!

Your post said about profit made on players which we didn't make on Kenny Miller.

Personally I liked him and appreciated his effort however 750k and 25k a week was too much.

I clearly said in my post that we will struggle to make a profit from any player who's over 30, such as Helguson, Smith, or like you said, Kenny Miller. We still sold Miller for over 400k though didn't we, so it wasn't a drastic loss and I think Miller's contribution was decent value for what we paid in my opinion.

You have no credibility with your statement that Malky did very well in the transfer market for us.

I will go as far as to say less than three of Malky's signings will make a profit.

If Malky didn't do very well in the transfer market, we wouldn't have gone from an initial squad of 10 professionals when he took over to getting to the playoffs, Carling Cup final and winning the Championship by 8 points.

Best players were jones signings, left us without a real quality striker, lacking in options around the field. Over paid players with a lot of money wasted.

He was crap in the transfer market. He had a big budget first season and a huge budget second season. Then had the 7th highest money to spend and bought over priced crap.

But this "overpriced crap" kept us above the relegation zone all season until Malky got sacked and our record signing has gone on to star at the World Cup, which has now got Inter Milan showing an interest. There will be many big clubs after Medel and a bidding war will ensure we get our money back from him, that's for sure.

They aren't stupid they will know we want rid. If they don't his agent definitely will.

It's been debated on here over and over. Some think he would have kept us up some think he wouldn't have. I think he wouldn't have but no one can say for sure.

I'll add my tuppence that it was our Dave Jones signing David Marshall who was the reason we were above the relegation zone.
