Medel is a class player, one of our best players.
The best we can hope for is that he stays and continues to play for the City!

Medel's playing well in the biggest shop window on the planet, Dalman has come out and named his price. £10 million is a huge amount and would go some way to repay the money wasted the previous management (no names)
Or
We get him for another season.
Happy days.

But championship manager it aint. This is the real world.
It isnt as easy as just "keeping him". If Dalman doesnt accept reasonable offers then you have an unhappy and potentially disruptive player on your hands. After relegation it is not wise to keep players at a level they do not wish to be at. His value will of course drop year after year and with his stock at its highest at the moment due to the exposure and hype of the Chilean side then it may be foolish to turn down a good offer of £5m-£6m as you may never get an offer like that again, while the debt comtinues to rise.

Cardiff were the only option of a move he had was it not? I refuse to believe anybody else had a bid accepted. Strange that he felt he had to move to a club just coming up from the championship and relegation favourites. There is and there was nobody else mental enough to pay that kind of money for him.
Gary Medel is a walking myth in every sense of the word.
A better player than any of the Swansea City squad.

Come on... you dont really believe that do you?
As i said Paul, people are trying to create a myth here. Medel is the biggest myth out there today, the stuff said about him by this forum is bizarre considering his actual ability and performances that we all see week in week out. Never seen anything like it.
